I have a soft spot for Hannover because a) a German friend is a big fan of them b) they provided our monarchy for a while ("the Hanoverians") and c) they used to have the player who, against stiff competition, still has my all time award for greatest player name - Bongo Christ.

Cant remember ever getting so much entertainment out of the EUROPE league or UEFA cup. Finally Channel 5 has a point!
