Yeah plus German clubs hang to their assets pretty well, they're all rich as ****. Because if not Gotze and Hummels would go out in the summer. They still might if Germany performs great again (as they probably will)

I don't know what inspires so much loyalty in the players actually. I don't really think German clubs have that money relative to English ones at least (except Bayern of course). But 2 years in the CL helps at least. The domestic TV deal went up, but not really a ton per individual team I don't think, and while Dortmund have a huge stadium, German clubs are owned by the supporters, so the ticket prices are affordable.

Anyway, we'll see how it goes. If Dortmund can't get out of the group stage next year I think people will devalue what they have accomplished domestically a little bit.

First of all, he's not going anywhere. He's getting paid well, and it would be horribly hypocritical of him to leave Dortmund after getting all of his players to buy into the project.

Second, he is really good, and I think next year will be different as well. Depth may have been an issue as well as lack of experience. Next year their attacking 4 could be Gotze, Kagawa, Reus, and Lewandowski. That's really good.

Reus is going to be great addition. There's talk of Kagawa leaving but I think he'll ultimately stay.

Congrats Bayern!

Don't quite follow the Bundesliga, so who's likely to replace Badstuber, Alaba and Gustavo in the final?

Thought Alaba's yellow was an incredibly harsh one, though it was a defo penalty imo.

Seeing you going through makes me more frustrated regarding yesterday's match. I think we all missed one of the most entertaining football matches.

Congrats!

AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! Hahahahahahaha YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry guys, words are very hard for me right now.

The possibilities for replacements: Van Buyten or Tymoschuk for CB... Contento or Rafinha for LB (Rafinha would be on the right and Lahm on the left)... Tymoschuk or Muller for CM (Kroos would drop back and Schweinsteiger would be the holder).

Anyway, it's a shame we're without some good defenders for the finals, but we are in a much better position than Chelsea to replace them. Hell, van Buyten was actually preferred to Boateng in the middle for the first half of the season.

Deserved win. Even Alaba scored the first penalty with most conviction than Ronaldo.

Yeah, this is something that is interesting to me. Alaba took the first penalty against Monchengladbach in the German Cup Semi Finals too. And made it! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Your IP might be closed by the Portuguese government!!!

Everyone in Portugal knows Cristiano is the best player of all time (H)

I guessed every outcome of the penalties. (H) Except for the Alonso one where I just guessed where Neuer would throw himself, the others were so obvious. SPECIALLY Ramos', my God!

Great fought battle. Either team could have gone through. CR7 as much as it pains me to admit is probably the best individual player in the world. I think he is better than Messi. Him and Ozil combine quite well, lets hope they do not decide to part ways with Mesut as some sort of scapegoating sacrifice. (Although u think Kaka will be that piece of the puzzle.) All Madrid needs is a decent #9 and perhaps a more clinical destroyer, sort of like Kroos a player who can stop opponents attacks and can throw a good pass in. Neither Khedira nor Xabi are that type of player. Marcelo has to go. I am shocked Coentrao is not being used as a winger as he should. Di Maria also doesn't convince me, way to many lost balls. He is not CR7 to be allowed so much dribbling.

As far as our team on the final goes i think the back 4 will be Rafinha, Van Buyten, Boatend and Lahm. Not the creme della creme but i am sure there is enough experience/talent there to sustain Chelsea attacks. I think instead of Gustavo who is suspended Tymo should be given the green light as an insurance to our defense also.

Kroos should not be touched and let roam the midfield with his vision, from that on we are pretty set. Robbery, Shcweinny and Gomez are ging to be fine. In case of an emergency we still have Mueller roaming in the reserves.

Oh and before i forget. Neuer is the best goalie in the world right now. Bar none. Probably our best trasfer in the last 5 years and we have signed Robbery also during that time so that says much about Neuers impact. Absolute world class.

As far as the Borussia talk goes they are going to be fine if they do not sell any of their top 4 players. I think them getting rid of Sahin last season didn't hurt their Bundesliga chances but in the CL they were overpowered. One year in it should have given them some sort of confidence though. Klopp is a good system coach, i doubt he will be that good with lets say Real Madrid sorta saying, where the system is basically buying superstars and letting them win. Klopp prefers a dutchlike approach where total football is key.

Really? I think that team is perfect as it is. They need to make a play for some better defenders because Pepe, Ramos, and Arbeloa aren't the best, but I don't see any problems with the team. Replacing Benzema and Ozil would be madness.

About us... I think Neuer is ******* amazing. So glad we didn't let the stupid fans veto that transfer. But I still say Robben was the best transfer of the last 5 years. Robben changed this club into legitimate European Title Contenders. Before he got here we were in that second tier with no hope of succeeding in Europe any time soon. Like a Valencia, basically.

La bestia negra...

I dont know what to say, except i´m pretty excited....great game, deserved go-through, i think.

Aftergame interview, reporter asked Kroos, what he thinks of Neuers 2 penalty- saves. Kroos replied: "Well, he didnt cost a 20 million for no reason"
Then Neuer, informed about Kroos´s answer said : "Right he is"
Very funny to me :)

Really? +1

Seems like you haven't watched too many of Madrid's matches. They need a number 9? They have 2 great strikers. Marcelo has his liabilities, but he's still one of the best LBs in the world. Di Maria has been immense ever since he joined the team. Really the only spot they should improve on is RB/CB, imo.
