The thing that adds up to the overall quality of your work is skin colour. The colours match directly with what is in the game, the default skins, as we can see CM12. Some face makers have their textures good, but what destroys it are the skin tone. Playing it in game with a skin that never matches it is really annoying. Hopefully face makers would take that to consideration.
