[NEW] kgbaseball's Updated Roster [UPDATED 5/19]

Erm, I'm confused. I moved the proper files to the proper folders but I'm still getting the default England squad. Were they not updated or?

read around the forums, what you are having problems w/ has been answered 100x already.

did you regenerate ?
did you delete the squads file ?
did you put the files in the correct location correctly ?

also create threads in the forums they belong, not in the forums that get the most attention.

I Have A Proplem with This , international Teams Have Wrong numbers like torres in spain have number 33 and all number of international teams wrong

do u pretend to make an update with promoted teams to at least EPL, Serie A and La Liga?!

Yeah I changed a bunch of players.

You can fix them yourself. My goal for international teams was to have accurate rosters of players who have played for their country in recent matches. Numbers are always changing so there is no point in changing them.

An attempt to get the computer to play more attacking football.

kgbaseball silly question here... why some players doesn´t have their names on their jersey when the rest of the team does? (Mostly new created players)

How come all players with 50 aggression to let computer to play attacking football.

I usually leave the Jersey Name blank in CM when I create a player because I assumed the game filled that in automatically. Guess not.

easy fix bro.

export the table, open in excel, sort playerjerseyname column from a to z.

any entries that use 0 are blank, simply copy the lastnameid column & paste it into the playerjerseyname column & reimport.

As regularcat said that "issue" can be fixed, but right now I'm having a problem. I´m playing career mode and on my second year with Spartak Moscow I had zero trouble on any of the russian competitions so far but once i started playing the Europa League against some teams like FC Zurich and Juventus the game crashes in game (especially when the rival is about to make a substitution) or on the loading screen before the match starts. So for now the only thing I can do to continue with my career is simulate those matches.

Hey man,

Great patch, love everything about it. Except one detail - how come the announcer is almost always English? Playing at the San Siro and having the goal announcements in English takes a little something away from the immersion.

Anyway to manually change this?

Well after i finished my second career year (the first with Spartak Moscow), I wanted to renew for another year, sadly once i signed up and hit advance the game just crashes to desktop, it´s unfortunate because this is one hell of a db with a lot of time invested in it.

Also, i don't know why but I can't search for players when I try to buy for transfers and stuff.

Guess it's back to the default rosters. Too many problems with this unfortunately.

Hey guys, I might not update this roster anymore. Too many problems for some of you, many of which I have not experienced or can not duplicate. And with Rinaldo's news that he might not do CM for FIFA 13, there's just no way I'd make a roster for the community using the in-game editor.

I'm still editing a roster for my personal use in case there is another CM, but I'm not holding my breath.

Sorry to those of you who experienced problems.

Can't believe FIFA is becoming this unfriendly towards modders. Thanks for the work you've put into these rosters, I guess I'm one of the lucky ones who got away with very minor issues.

Hi KG. Thanks for everything. I understand your concern, but i believe i know why many people have experienced so many problems. My guess is that you start your Career mode in year 2011, right? If anybody has modded their FIFA to start career mode in 2012, all players on loan will be returning to their club on the first day in career mode, hence some clubs (i believe it is 3 or 4 clubs) will have less than 18 players in the team when starting i 2012, which will make the game crash when you search for any player in "transfer > buy players"...

What i'm doing right now, is using your update (THE BEST!!) and updating it to the 2012/13 season (using CM and DBM), since i have modded my FIFA to start the career mode in 2012 too... I will cancel ALL loans from your update and then update one team at a time, starting with the english premier league and then major team afterwards, and always make sure that every team has between 18 and 42 players in total (incl. my new incuded loaned players for 2013-season)... I believe it will work for everbody without any errors (have done a little testing already)...

Another interesting thing i have done, is to include the correct teams in Champions League and Europa League (by edding "compids.txt", "initteams.txt" and "tasks.yxt" + updating the "leagueteamlinks" in the D for season 2012/13! That REALLY improves the game!!

Last small thing is have implemented is bans/major injuries for start of season 2012/13 (by eding "career_extraplayerinfo" in DBM). Including Giuseppe Rossi's injury and Joye Barton's Ban (made as an injury)...
