I was trying to work out how much of the Thiago and Zlatan money has been "reinvested" in him

You need a whole new defense, a #6 and a class forward.

That attack (Robinho-Pato) is already out. Xifio was right, Milan should have sell Pato last January, at least they could keep either Ibra or Silva by that money.

It was keep both or sell both, neither would stay alone.

I honestly think Milan would be better playing SES than Robinho, at least SES has potential

Good game from SES, Pazzo scoring 3 very pazzo-esque goals to get Milan up and running

don't know what else Berlusconi/Galliani expected to happen with their personnel decisions ...
talk of Allegri getting the sack in a match (or, at most, two) ... again, what else the upper management expect to happen this season? I'm not his biggest fan, but to blame him for Milan's woes is stupid ... let the rumours about Ruud Gullitt begin ...

Just read an awesome interview to Nesta where he leaves some interesting stuff

"In 2002, on the last day of summer transfer window, Lotito's son call me when i was going to the training season to tell me: "stop, you are going to Milan", i answered "no way, are you kidding me?" few hours later i was in my official presentation"

"it was a drama for me to play for Milan, first time i moved from Rome in 26 years and i didn't wanted to leave, Galliani tell me to smile a little bit in the presentation because they just paid €30M for me. We had a friendly against Inter that day and i saw Crespo with Inter's shirt, i went to him and the first thing he told me was "They sold you too?".

"first time i went to Rome to play against Lazio, the ultras sended me text: "don't shown up to Curva Norte, be Careful". Why did they put the blame on me and not on the president? It was him who ruined the club and was forced to sell players, not me."

"In 2006 i wanted to comeback to Lazio, i called Oddo asking him to tell the president if they can bring me back, Lotito said i was very old, in newspaper Lotito said Lazio won't sign old players. I was only 30 not 38..."

"One year later i won the Champions League and when i went to get the medal Lotito hid into the crowd"

"I thought Pirlo was a mediocre player but in my first training season i said: Who's that? he is a genius!"

"I remember the night before CL final in Manchester, Pirlo and I couldn't sleep, so we went to the massage parlor, we found the whole squad there, even Maldini! if Maldini were there, with 5 CL finals already, there was nothing to fear."

"First days after 2006 World Cup final, i didn't feel like i won the world cup, it was hard to assimilate."
