Does anybody listen to any podcasts? I'm partial to James Richardson and The Guardian's Football Weekly because of the amazing puns. I also like the newer "Men in Blazers" on Grantland.

I listen to Football Weekly now and then. I used to infrequently catch James Richardson on Football Italia and that made me a fan.

What's Men in Blazers like? I generally dislike football coverage on Grantland, and I don't really care for Bill Simmons 'casts anymore.

For Arsenal I really just listen to this. However seeing as the content is exclusively Arsenal it'll only appeal to a minority here.

For the Ligue Zlatan enthusiasts this may be to your taste.

Football Ramble is preferred to Football Weekly by a few people I know.

While it was free World Football Daily was good until Steve Cohen made those retarded comments.

I actually really like podcasts and never thought of trying football ones so I'll check out these suggestions.

Could never be bothered with football ones as so overloaded by gossip and crap.

But I do enjoy the Football Ramble. More about fun, games and banter between a set of fans but they cover a good deal of the week's action all over Europe.

Oh and tits.
For Arsenal I listen to Arsecast of Arseblog. Its fantastic and I kind of think people with little interest re Arsenal would enjoy it even as it is very well done. I try and keep up with Guardian's Football Weekly too.

Football Ramble...How is it? Does it cover other leagues well? I know Football Weekly does but not in great detail regularly.

Anyone aware of a few well done football blogs covering other leagues? The Guardian reports are fairly well done by the likes of Honigstein,Sid Lowe,Bandini etc but apart from the Guardian where can I find more interesting stuff to read?

EDIT: Why not open a thread and post links to articles related to football we come across and enjoy even if it concerns just the team you support? Wouldn't be too bad...

I enjoy 606 football phone in. Nothing like listening to real fans talk about their latest win, loss, or draw. SPecially liverpool fans complain after a loss

Anyone who doubts the greatness of AC Jimbo

Shifty, why you don't do it yourself, 10min talk about Bundesliga or European football in General. I think we have knowledgeable users here we can have deeper discussions.

10 minutes wouldn't be nearly long enough. The podcasts on the Bundesliga (at least in English) aren't very good, but they are good enough for what they are. I'd have to spend a LOT of my time and effort to have anything that I think could compete professionally.

Couple other classic Jimbo puns, usually from the intro to Football Weekly

"Roy Hodgson's come-from-behind cottagers pull off another big one in Europe"

"Jimmy Bullard, like a bottle of poppers, will be trying to keep the Cottagers up"

"The biggest cottagers comeback since George Michael"

(if you didn't get those, google "cottager")

"The goals in this game have, like a horny baker, come in a roll."

"Like George W. Bush with a model plane kit, you'll be glued to the box."

"The Brazilian defender once spent six months in a Sao Paolo jail. Lazio are keen, given how much he knows about keeping it tight at the back."

"Liverpool with a score straight out of Posh Spice's diary: 8-nothing"

"Not since Guti found out his girlfriend was a transexual have footballers battled so hard to avoid going down"

"Inter fans have, like a man eating a milipede, tasted defeat many times."

"Football Weekly, the show that is as badly missed as a backpass to Titus Bramble"

Yeah, been quality of late. Always tend to get a little tired of it, but then enjoy it all the more when I go back. Weird cycle.

Um yeah I do seem a bit obsessive listening to all these as I also listen to other podcasts on other topics such as news media philosophy etc.etc. but I do catch a train twice a day and walk the dog and listen to some at work so there are plenty of opportunities. Disappointed to see andy brassel leave the world football phone in but at least Tom vickery remains. Been a who
