i couldnt test every stadium name, if you dont want to have an issue export the original stadiumassignments from an original db & import it into my db w/ dbm12 or redownload my file w/ an updated original stadiumassignments table in it.

your modding work is great. quick question, is there any way to remove that exaggerated brightness on 'tele' camera? I noticed that it only appears on this camera setting and the whole pitch looks horribly bright, almost yellow-white. If you switched the camera that brightness is gone and the pitch looks ok. There are lots of people complaining about this. It looks horrible.

I install the mod, but after the changes the game crash after I select the language.

i have included an excel workbook in the download w/ all the data for everyone to copy to their native language database so the patch will work for them as well.
if you want to make the language databases im fine w/ that.

i dont know, i havent even played the game yet, this sounds like something ea should fix.

you seem to be the only one, did you regenerate the bh files ?

Hey, mediafire says that download link was removed or something. Is it just me, or is anyone else having this problem?

regularcat, should I blow the databases away from their locale and data0 big locations after I have extracted and replaced them with yours?

remove the db & xml from data0 & remove the lang dbs & xmls from locale once you have exported them to the loc folder.

Thanks rc, that did it, and I can now see the db changes. The logo's I fought back and forth with. Perhaps regenerating all files with Bernd's tool does not work for the logos? When doing it with FM 12, it seemed to sync up. Who knows, but it works.

hi guys first time trying this i really need an idiots guide, i am following regularcats read me, but i cant see the changes, is there someting i should delete after following? sorry if its a silly question but just coming over to FIFA from PES after PES's no league/master league nonsense.

you will need.

1. my patch.
2. fm 12 (file master 12)(you may need the registry files for fifa 12, check the uk/euro modders thread in the fifa 13 forum for them).

1. open fm12, extract the fifa db & all the language dbs, then remove them from the big files.

2. extract the download.

3. copy the files where they need to go & overwrite if asked.

Databases
db - CProgram Files\EA Sports\FIFA 13\Game\data\db
loc - CProgram Files\EA Sports\FIFA 13\Game\data\loc

Logos
crest - CProgram Files\EA Sports\FIFA 13\Game\data\ui\imgAssets

Since I used your files, I did not regenerate.

I copied both BH files into my folder and also followed the rest of the guide, but do I have to regenerate for the other things (logos or database) or might I miss something?

I can see logos & stadium names, is there anything I might be missing if I did not regenerate?

Yes, thank you. I think using FM 12's re-generator helped with the logos, but I was going back and forth trying different options, so I can't say for certain.

You can try to start a new career with a good team, say Barca. Choose to option to play in Europe in Year 1. When you get to the screen where it places the teams for the European tourney, you should be able to read the tournament name on top of the tournament tables. It should say UEFA Champions League, instead of Champions Cup (EA's generic name). That's one tell that it works, others may have better ideas.

I would regenerate if possible using either FM 12 or Bernd's tool.

make sure you have the correct bit key.

then double click it & it will ask to be imported to the registry, click yes.

no, if you see the logos & the name changes such as league names, team names, stadium names, etc then you are good to go.

go to kick off mode, select brazil & if it says Campeonato Brasileirão Serie A its installed correctly.

When I went to kick off mode, I think it tried to download something and said that the league data is damaged.

Then when it updated, it said "Liga do Brasil".



I checked out my career mode (just started, no biggy) and when I checked "other leagues" it had "Liga do Brasil" as well as the league name.

So I am guessing it didnt work?

i got you, so what this means is that its reading the logos, the database but not the language db.

extract all the laguage dbs from locale.big then delete them from locale.big & then drag all the extracted dbs into the loc folder then copy my english db into the loc & overwrite.

then regenerate & you should be good.
