[FIFA Immersion Gameplay '13]

RC made a nice gesture to me, sending his gameplay patch to recover my will to play fifa 13.. since then I've been trying to like the game..

I'm not OK with the need to work AI in order to improve gameplay.. I always play career mode games and everytime I change a thing, it gets destroyed..

I tried you AI DB just now, all I can say is well done.. more fouls, more cards.. just feels better overall.. I think I should wait for you to finish it off and then convert to fifa 13.. I'm gonna keep an eye on here..

Hello, i'm back with some feedback finally. :)

Started CM with your latest db+ai and played about 7 matches.

-World class (legendary was way too hard for me...for example...modena was destroying me and they were playing like barcelona all the time, couldn't even foul them :)

-10 minutes half

-Most of the settings at manual

Sliders are as follows:

So now for the actual feedback. :)

I really loved how there is more fouls + yellow/red cards. Cpu actually shoots from outside of the box, has various actions from free kicks, corners are also very varied (seen both the short corners and long corners). I've also seen a corner where i was losing 1:2 to milan in the 89 minute and they just used the short ball corner and tried to contain the ball there to pass the time, it was awesome and i was eternally pissed. :)

Transfers were also really good, i didnt see stuff like messi joining everton, ronaldo going to hull city and such. :)

Seems you really fixed the one touch passing thing (it's still there but its only being done with the top end players/teams).

I think this combination of db + ai you just made could just be your final cause i cant think of anything that aint working like i want it to.

I'm gonna play some more matches today and if i feel i missed typing something i'll update the post.

Where to even start... Lets start from passing, long passing... It's fabulous, weaker teams do lots of game skip with long ball.
Teams will switch sides more often, depending the situation, and more long passes in the box not only from the flank, but from the midfield, which is great.

I'm impressed with varieties in every match. Every match is different, I played 3 matches in a row with Manchester United (me) vs Barcelona (AI) and every match was different. Now, don't get this wrong, Barca was playing it "Barca style" all the time, but never with the same scenario... Don't know how to explain correctly... In one match Barca was dominating, not giving me lots of chances, while in other match I controlled the match, they simply weren't able to establish their game, bad day I guess.

Weaker teams do more sloppy fouls and mistakes, especially in defense (marking and reactions), which is great.

I saw offsides for first time in your patch. (Y)

AI intelligence is amazing. Take a look at the video (it shows only short AI attack). Notice how AI will move ball from up front to back line, they will try to stretch you, find spaces, try to find gaps, keep the ball... It's amazing. The stronger the team, the more intelligent attack is. I saw none dribbles (360, bycicle, fake turn etc.) but notice in the video at 0:46 (Emre) and 1:08 (Topal) nice skills from AI. And you will see that often. Also, difference between calls players is more visible, just see Emre in this short video. He was badass whole match though, I lost. :(





I don't know what to tell you about what needs big improving. Really. I guess I need more playing to tell more, but for now I have another mod to test.

In overall this is probably one of the best mods I tested so far, keep it up. This could really be final. ;)

Oh, and one more thing... I like the difference between speedsters. Fast players will be hard to stop and will break your flank more often. Same for strength.

Thanks for the feedback, Rissien. It's nice to know that at least 50% of the corners are long. The main bugs are the one-touch passes and 50% +- for the corners. Thanks again, I will try to fix anything that you suggest later, but i am busy until February.

Thanks, Waldo1639. If you or Rissien - or anyone else for that matter come up with any more suggestions in the next 3-4 days, I will fix them before finalizing everything. If not, then it is the Final version. :) BTW, the ball names are easy to fix. I unlocked all the special balls in the db, but haven't renamed, yet.
Also, this mod is focused on AI and DB, CM fixes are last on the list.

Played 4 more matches, everything was awesome!

Concerning cm.....goalkeepers are the most expensive players ingame ATM due to lowering the scores of other players. You can get falcao for 1m, dzeko for 400k etc etc but goalkeepers cost loads more...for example hart id 32mil, buffon 25 etc.

This is the only issue i'm having currently, but as you said, cm fixes are gonna be implemented last. :)

I would do this:

Increase the player costs (or just use the default prices for players), lower the amount of money we get (start of the season, winning champions league etc).

I think those are the only fixes needed if we're talking about the CM part of the game. :)

AP, I forgot to tell that stamina is also good. If I'm not wrong, by default, stamina of most players during last 10-15 minutes is green, while this will rarely happen with your mod, meaning you'll need to think carefully who to substitute and that substitution is really showing it's freshness for both me or AI. Oh, and AI will make more fouls if they're loosing.

Also, you might wanna fix formations name with ball names, as it still writes 4/3/2003 instead of 4/3/3 etc. Not a biggy really, just for appeal.

Rissien, you said you saw long shots. From how long? 20, 25m? Cause I didn't saw any shots from distance longer then 17-18m. It could be only me, though.

I can also confirm variety of corner and free kicks.




And just for fun, video of AI, scoring with nice volley (I'll delete this video after short time)

Saw shots from 20 meters, free kick shots from 30 meters and such. :)

Yes, I most certainly can. The reason the previous version had more long shots is because I had to revert to an older version and start over.

- i don´t know, if there a more other GPP...

Because, for me it is difficult, to see, which GPP ist actually the best.

You can use my gameplay with the moddingway mod only if it is only graphics files and not the DB(database) updates.
My mod is a database file and a product file which change the way the AI thinks and the way the game is played - slower speed and smooth animations.

Because, for me it is difficult, to see, which GPP ist actually the best.

-Paul's mod is a product file only version, while mine and Fidel's are DB and product file versions. DB changes affect the speed of the game, player and team attributes and tactics, and other tactics in general. Product files are mainly used for tweaking AI thoughts and decisions.
