More than 200 new boots assignments!

In this pack you'll find everything necessary to make my bootpack work:

- dbm13
- shoe folder of course
- i68 patcher
- i68 regenerator
- boots folder for ModdingWay Selector
- boots name add-on.


How to install:
First of all, back up your db and shoe folders, your boots assignments and, if you have ModdingWay Patch, boots folder.
Activate boots ids in your db. Get the playerboots.txt table in "step 1 - playerboots" folder and follow this tutorial:

Copy and paste the contents of "step 2 - bootpack" folder into "Game" folder(overwrite your previous files once asked)
Run the patcher ("step 3 - i68 patcher" folder) and wait (it will take a while...15000 boots assignments need time!).
Regenerate ("step 4 - i68 regenerator" folder). This last operation is just once-off. If you did it with my previous version it's not
necessary this time.
Delete all the boots assignments in your lua file.
Done.

This bootpack is compatible with any patch.


Warning
If you notice that boots are not correctly assigned to the players, follow this last step:
in the main menu, go to costumise fifa/edit teams/change squads-roster and reset all squads

For all the people who notice crashes in edit mode
You'll find a playerboots.txt called "playerboots by nabo78 less than 150 boots" in "step 1 - playerboots" folder , use that one.

ModdingWay Patch add-on
Before starting, delete shoe folder (XXX\FIFA 13\Game\data\sceneassets).
Delete boots folder (XXX\FIFA 13\Game) and replace with the one in my add-on.
Now you can use Modding Selector.

Boots name and IDs in edit mode - add -on by fakefisher
use DBM add these strings of the lauguage db(eg:eng_us.db)
all boots are available in edit mode with the right name and id




steps:
it's a very simple method to add bootname in edit mode
1.place eng_ng_upd.db(this file precede over eng_ng_db) to your XXX\FIFA 13\Game\data\loc
2.regenarate patch.big
enjoy it.

I gave it a go and everything went well...pay attention, I said, before starting delete your boots assignments but keep your boots.lua file (so an empty file is required)...without it you can't assign boots

i know, but i thought that you already made boot assignments for ModdingWay patch but from your answer i guess that for MW we have to assign the boots to the player our self's?

You're right, boots are already assigned but if someone wants to assign boots on his own,for instance you don't want to wait until the next update is out, MW Selector works perfectly

Problem for me,

I use MW patch, but all assignement are bad and many boots doesn't appear

I have replace both folders shoe and boots

ANd used DB Master and make all describe on tutorial.

I launch the game no one have correct boot attribution , all boot appears in mwm selector but i cannot attribute boots to everyone.

If someone can share boots attribution file. Thx

Second probleme i haven't correct names on edit mode inide the game

thnx Nabo78 for great update its work fine with the ModdingWay patch but there player still with old boots like Bekcham still with adidas Predator LZ - Blue/Infrared/Navy/White not his custom boot and the same C.ronaldo , btw i followed that go to costumise fifa/edit teams/change squads-roster and reset all squads

Wow, "15000 boots assignments" I`m assuming all the big clubs are assigned. Beats me, doing it manually one by one.

1) I have 2013 Roster Update [March] from FIFA Infinity,
2) Rev Mod 13 v1.3 by scouser09
3) Boot Fix V.1.0 by scouser09
4) Rev Mod Manager 1.6 by Outsider 87
5) Don`t have Moddingway Mod.

Haven`t tried all of them yet.

Question;

1) I wanted to know the difference between moddingway mod and rev mod,
2) Boot Fix V.1.0 by scouser09 and your boot fix and
3) Lets just say I have the March Update and Rev Mod in with no assignments, how do I go about this update.

I used to manually assign boots, kits, etc., with rev mod 12 in Fifa 12, even in game menu names. Seems there is a limit this year.

Thanks and good luck with your other projects.

First of all thank you for letting me use your boots in my bootpack.

Answers:

1) ModdingWay Mod is a patch and Revolution Mod is a tool. ModdingWay uses a "modified" version of Revolution Mod 1.2, so you can't use Revolution Mod Manager to assign boots, kits, and so on.
2) I don't know how Boot Fix V.1.0 works but I learnt from master Scouser how to fix EA bug regarding generic boots instead of branded ones. Anyway my fix is a simple tab that you have to import into your db.
3) My bootpack works with any db and with or without revolution mod

I tried to install here further failed when I send the MWM Selector load the players a message with error 53

what should I have done wrong ...

ModdingWay put the 1.8.2 back here now no longer appears to open the db by db master

Regarding Bekcham, well, you're right, but Cristiano Ronaldo has his new boots

Thanks for your answers, but I have a few more, sorry won`t bother you again, I`m sure you're busy,

1) Is there any other way of importing eng_us_upd file without using i68 patcher. Like DB Master for example. Since its not a text file I`m not sure as to how.

2) Can I use CM to regenerate after I patch the db. (i68 Re-generator does not run properly on my pc)

3) I want the bump map textures in 512 X 512 aswell, seems its only possible with hex edit. Any info or links on that would be great. Thanks again.
