I agree, i have the same problem with the gameplay.

It's happening from time to time, but not so much.

But it's very frustrating when you can have a counter attack and the ball is there, but the player just stands there and dont run for the ball.

Otherwise i love the gameplay, much better than EA's original.

Hi Fidel,

I agree with the guys above, I think we are nearly there is it possible to just tweak the problems above without losing any of the gameplay?

It is nearly perfect, just that when you get that one break away counter attack and find yourself making the perfect through ball, your player only sometimes just runs past the ball and the chance is gone.

I have the same problem...Please, Fidel, be our saviour! :) Except this player moving issue, the gameplay is perfect ;)

hello people,i have a problem. When the computer back pass to goalkeeper and does not hold and own goal keeper enters,my english little bit bad sorry:( and i using cl.ini file.

Try to modify those :
PLAYER_ATTRIBUTE_BALL_CONTROL = -5000.0
SKILLS_BALL_CONTROL = -500000000000000000000.0

These are the lines for AI 2.4. Maybe that's a first lead.
At least try things and not just complain here ;)

On my side I started to create my own cl.ini file in order to tweak the gameplay as I like.
That's the way to go.

Bro can u share ur cl.ini?? Does it has the push pull coefficient for the fouls? Because sometimes i have problems with the fouls inside the penalty box??

This is a light version of the key elements I wanted from the AI of Fidel and others. So I'm NOT the one who created the coding, I've just compiled things I like.

Basically:
- A very aggressive defense
- A strict referee with relevant card decision
- No AI cheat (won't get sudden boost when leaded etc...)
- Home/Away does not have influence on player's stats
- Players attributes are never boosted, no crazy shot taking or aiming
- Long call efficiency
- Less accurate clearance
- More tackles
- Hands are activated (not while tackling)
- Some more details

Anyway, test, try, modify, make your own and share ;)
Your feedback will be interesting.

No db and as I said it's a compilation of several cl.ini files with the minimum I like. As simple as that, it's NOT new codes or else!

Im just wondering, i also have a mix of all mod's in my own file, and tjere are only two thing that are bothering me, so if anyone can help i would apriciate it very much:

1. After the shot hits the post or bar or defflect's of the keeper it goes like bullet to my other team mate for a easy score, almost always, like 95% of time, and i thinks that this is not realistic and i wonder if i can tone it down?!
(I know that ball defflect's and that is the way its suposed to be, but it does not defflects and then my player after some time get to it (that would be logical) but it defflects directly to my teammate like a bullet, its not realistic)

2. Is there any way to minimize the effect in which both teams go in god mode in 45 min. and 90. min of the game, in 20 games that i play, there war almost in every one a gol in 45. min or in 90.min and dat is just annoying?!

Seems like whatever you did, i get less players aimlessly looking for the ball, and first time balls and shots, are a bit better than Fidel's mod (probably does this because yours is designed to play without his DB). Anyways, my question is what difficulty do you play, and what sliders if you don't mind my asking?

Foul chance is still slim from what I have seen thus far, but my sliders could be different than yours, seems like sometimes they are everything.

Hi,

I generally don't touch sliders too much and just lower pass speed a bit as well as increasing marking.
Then you could lower Speed and even more Acceleration to your own taste. That will also ease fouls, especially while making the proper Feint at the right time.

Balls and shots should be similar to the original FIFA gameplay.

I've finished my FKs in Career yesterday, 30/30, finally!
But sadly it does not grant you the FK taker depending on the players you're with. Even with 91 in FK, 91 in distance shot, 84 in power shot, 87 in Spin, and the FK specialist trait... So silly!!

In the meantime I've modified the file. I had made a mistake about tackling, that's why CPU is making perfect tackle everytime...
I'll upload it tonight when I'll be back home.
