For the 2nd consecultive time, they didn't decide to release it for PC, and it will be only released for XBOX 360 and PS3, let's hope the game structure will be the same as FIFA 14 PC so we could do something

Darn it, and I really wanted to waste another $50 on yet another EA cash grab that looks and plays exactly like FIFA 14.

You guys need to know that EA is doing everything in their power to satisfy gamers needs. EA dont want money, they want us to be happy. Also, you need to know that for sake of humanity, World Cup can not be on PC and next-gen, its to risky to maneuver such a huge project as World Cup is. I understand EA, and soon will all of you figure that EA is your best friend, you will be happy.

Well to be honest I think on this occasion Bangus may be right with less sarcasm. I think EA looked at the costings for getting it out on CG consoles and they know will be cost effective to them and ignored the "hassle platforms". They know consolers on these platforms will feel more pandered too and will quick purchase via cashless ways through that platform quicker than you can say ... EA.

On the other hand it might not be that they read forums and think "lets not give it too them" they just know on PC people are a little more savvy to it all vs sales.

Lets face it, what they will do and what a modder can do (transferring over some data) with a patch wont be far from one another. With this and now with experience of EA since 12 to 13 and 14 (for a short period) I have uninstalled it all, I have officially drop kicked fifa from memory.

I wish I could take credit for being that influential but I can't. EA won't port their WC game to PC, or develop a NG FIFA on the PC for years to come, because the console version outsells the PC version 100 to 1. It's all about getting the most $$$ out of FIFA 14, and with the least amount of time and resources invested. They don't care about the 5% of gamers who play on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. It's a money grab, just like I said.

fact.

ea and FIFA are businesses and that is what businesses do, they try to capitalize by making the most profit they can by spending the least amount they can to create the product they make the profit off of.

nobody really knows why they don't make games for this platform while making it for that platform but i am sure money is involved.

in my opinion once the ps3 and 360 fall off the pc version will be cancelled and the newer console will be what you will need to play FIFA.

But with the awesome and hardworking modders on this forum, i bet it will come a very good world cup 2014 patch.

This is exactly what I'm afraid of. :md:
Still, I believe that PC will get a "legacy" edition line Nintendo Wii/3DS get now (which will mean FIFa14 updated year after year with a new DB and new kits/shoes/balls).
