If he played up top and lead the line, he would be the most important player in the team. Instead, his Roy of the Rovers act is killing us. Moyes certainly doesn't help.

How many 20+ goal seasons has he had? Not many. He simply never progressed to the world class talent he could have been.

To be fair he really was hurt in 2010. He was awful in that second leg. They rushed him back and ruined his entire 2010 including his World Cup.

That is bullshit. In the post Ronaldo he was the main man and we still won trophies and reached UCL finals. He always played well under Ferguson.

United was always centered around him and if he was crap, we wouldn't have won trophies and reached these finals.

Blaming him for a bad season is absurd. The whole team has been bad this season under Moyes.

Is that how you judge a player? Goalscoring is not what he is best as. He is a supporting striker and has most of the time played just behind the main striker which is why he has not had many 20+ goals seasons. If you are judging him by numbers, you have to look at his assists as well. This season for example, he has 15 goals and 10 assists. In a season in which he has been "poor", he has contributed to 25 goals in 27 games.

Nah they begin at 7:00am and there is an Italian cafe near me that shows them. Though I admit I havent watched much live soccer compared to the previous two seasons, where I watched 4-5 different EPL games every single weekend.
