2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil PC Conversion Patch Thread

In a probably vane attempt to get this thread back to topic, I figured out how to remove the 4 dudes from the new stadiums. I posted the fix but then this started and got lost pages ago.
The issue is there is a different structure to sideline characters in this new game so I chose to remove them all. It's not a perfect fix, it would take a massive amount of time to identify which ones exactly are (I'm leaning towards managers) which I don't have so test away. I successfully removed everyone so it's a partial fix.
Open the stadium file with a hex editor and search for text 'slc_' and you'll find a long list of characters including flag bearers, ball boys, stewards, medical officers, police, managers, bench players, etc. To remove anyone simply replace the text with zeroes on the hex side, so 'slc_ballboy_gameplay_3' becomes 'slc_......._gameplay_3' for example. Careful they're not dots on the text side, they're zeroes on the hex side, they're different values that look the same.

No, I won't. I was planning on just adding the 32 teams to my FIFA 13 conversion to FIFA 14 patch as an addon. However, I wanted to convert the stadiums to FIFA 13 from the World Cup game and I have no help since everyone has migrated to FIFA 14. I am 50/50 about that at the moment. What makes this even more astounding on the part of SIA Bouncer is that he's a forum moderator @ ModdingWay. And apparently he's also Filipino. I've given him 4 10-day infractions + a couple of warnings too.

For God's sake! It's good to see that we're finally back into the subject. Do you what's the worse part of all this? Yes, SIA is a moderator @ Moddingway (you should see his usual "I'm better than you" comments... he loves to make people feel like garbage), but the real genius behind MW is actually Ariel Santarelli... I remember using his work for my games since, what? FIFA 99 maybe? He's such a nice guy; I just can't understand how he managed to work with SIA.
BTW, since Ariel's healthy isn't fine, and he will have to leave FIFA modding for who knows how much time, you are the only hope we have to slap EA's face and have a nice WC mod. It would be really nice that you could stop arguing (regardless our race, we're all the same at the end... we all live, we all die, we all laugh, we all feel) and please please please really focus on this project. Actually I truly think you might contact Ariel (not SIA) to try to use his work if it's useful. Anyway, I've never done anything further than making some kits for FIFA 99 with FEd99 tool, so...

Ariel is a true OG of the scene. I remember him from the FIFALA days back in 1999-2002, he's a actual programmer and his apps and modding really revolutionized the game back then, he even came up with new cut-scenes. And he's actually polite and humble, not like some people who showed up a couple of years ago and they put together a patch and now they think they're some sort of FIFA Superstar or whatever..

Well - we have 10 days in which to get this thread back on topic and to work on getting as much of the World Cup game into Fifa 14 as possible. Sorry I missed so much of the fun and games in here. Respect to Ariel for his sterling work for many years on the Fifa scene - his website was my first Fifa home in the good days when I was using the name "reggaeboy" (no points for why!). Let's try to rise above petty squabbles and name-calling please. Racist slurs are not funny and achieve nothing but anger. Peace and love.
