i'm not dropping the squads down to 23, i'm simply adjusting the lineups and subs to match the lineups of the top 23.

crashes after Messi screen

Hi there,

First great praise for this great patch:)

Unfortunately I had the start and the crash after messi screen.

I have done the following

deletes the file ...> languageselect.big | <:innocent_smile_1:

this is located in the folder> Fifa14/Game/fiWCdata/ui/game/screens/bootflow/languageselect.big

Activate Internet connection
Then start Fifa14, start WorldCup patch.

I own a legal Fifa14

The patch has been downloaded thousands of times and works great for most people, I'm getting pm's through several channels confirming that and I dont mind you posting your issue and we will work to solve the issue if it can be solved but please dont spam the thread with the same issue over and over. We got the message and will do what we can to fix it but those of you with crashes are the exception not the rule so this is not a cookie cutter fix.


Let me explain something to you since I consider myself experienced in database editing.

If a database is bad then it bad for everyone not just a select few. There is a long list of items that can crash a game both when starting FIFA and when trying to play. There are only a couple things that cause formations crashes, one is the offsets in the formations table not matching the team player links table or what you know to be the starting lineup. I'm not 100% saying your wrong but it does go against conventional wisdom when editing FIFA. It wouldn't make sense that 85-90% can play the same patch you have with no issues if there was a db issue. A database issue would crash everyone's game not just a select few.

When you get upfront crashes like you have its usually having to do with something different and since we use Jenkeys loader and MD's station tool we have 2 programs in this patch that we have to look at when locating the problem and of course we will look at db and other stuff as well.

Those of you with issue you need to be patient, I know you have an issue and I'm asking you nicely to stop spamming the thread so I dont have to have the mods jump in.

Reg can you get rid of all these guys posting the same stuff, their crash has been noted but now they are just spamming. Its very clear the crash is the startup crash for those who have it and we are aware.

Now I have people saying their normal FIFA wont work and anyone with a clue about FIFA knows this patch doesn't edit any of the default FIFA files, not even the default FIFA settings. So they probably just dont know what they are doing.

everybody that is crashing, try using the data itself in another clean copy of FIFA using jenkey's file loader without using the station tool and see if it crashes.

i have zero issues, so i doubt it is the files, i have looked at the formations and so far see no mistakes.

You must not know what your doing, this patch runs separately from your default FIFA and does not touch one default FIFA file. The station tool just activates or deactivates which files are being used (Normal FIFA path or FWC patch folders. The fact your normal FIFA doesn't work tells me that you have a corrupt default FIFA and you need to fix that first before you worry about playing a patch.

All they have to do is paste the data from the FWC folders to the appropriate directory in FIFA and regen, get rid of all the FWC folders before you regen.

Until we can communicate with MD concerning the station tool we wont have a fix for them.

I REALLY SORRY i had a problem with my db i was doing some recent transfers like fabregas to chelsea diego costa also to chelsea rakitic to barcelona.... if you want i can help you with the world cup squads !!!

i am now, i have 11 squads done, but some are missing some players in the database and some squads don't have lineups on that site.

i will not be creating any players, so whoever might be missing will be up to the user to create them if they want them.

i'll send it when i am finished and you can add the players.

i'll make a list of the players missing and their place in the line up and then you do what you need to do and send me the database back and i will finalize it.
