Me too. I think they're just trying to save embarrassment by saying "that's impossible to save", but occasionally you do see some where the keeper could possibly get a fingertip to the ball even if they were initially going the wrong way. At least try. That's the difference between good and great keepers IMO; the great ones will change direction and save it.

Also, goalkeepers should be on thir line with modern dipping footballs on freekicks

Slap in the face of whom? Rode and Hojbjerg to sit in for Thiago and Schweinstiger in midfield? Lol man

Expect Rode in RB more. Even in pre-season Kalle and Sammer already said he'll play there. He either seizes that opportunity like Alaba or go away like Kirchhoff.

Hojbjerg would have to turn up with his Pokal final performance week in and out to convince he can play ahead of Alaba, Alonso, or Lahm in CM while Thiago and Shweinstiger are out. He didn't look great against Hamburg. He's young, a bit of patience will not ruin him.
