It's shit. It's like they poured all this control and detail to attack then gave up halfway through implementing a half decent defense.

You have to manually intercept the ball because the CPU won't do it for you. You would say, well you must suck then... that might be the case, but every player apparently has Messi-esque ball control, and the defender feels like an incompetent Maza Rodriguez...

EA boasts about their improved AI, but that might be for next gen. If you want improved AI, don't look at the current gen version... I'll give you an example. I manually slide tackle and remove the ball from the already overpowered attacker, I then have to switch to the nearest guy to intercept the ball because if you don't switch to him, the player will just stare at the ball. The player that was tackle will have enough time to recover, get up and regain possession. Then removing him of the ball is a daunting task.

So anyway, don't get it.

Isn't FIFA 12 the most buggy FIFA ever?

it's said so, but I've given up choosing my football games by reviews..

for instance you had so much control over the player in fifa 12, and it was less scripted in comparison to fifa 13-14.. it had it's moments for me, thus I played Fifa 12 with my updates till last month..

I have 15 now, and I have the will to learn playing it but I don't know, maybe I can go back to Fifa 12.. it was that good..

You can play Infinite without playing the other two, the plots are not related. Best fucking ending of a fucking game, ever.
I just finished Bioshock: Infinite on PS3 and my head is spinning. Incredible experience, incredible ending, albeit very very very complex. It's hard to wrap your mind around it.

I'm interested in playing Mass Effect, but a trilogy seems daunting to me now, also because the first one is kind of old.

If you have a fair bit of free time on your hands, you could definitely do worse!

Bioware released new concept art and info for the new Mass Effect, too. Probably more coming once the Dragon Age: Inquisition launch is out of the way. Anyone played that trilogy? (and the DA one, while we're at it)

damn, we had Black Friday last week here (odd I know) and PS4s went for as little as €230 on a site. ran out of stock in 10 minutes though.

I really want one, haven't had a console since PS1. wanted to build a new PC but the GPU alone was almost as much as a new-gen console. anyway I'm hoping for some December sales, otherwise I'll just buy it as it is but it would have been nice to get some games too for the difference.

Played Fifa15 on a PS4. It was great, graphics fulfilled my expectations 100%. Before I always thought PC was better.

Why would you ever think PC was better? Until a couple of years ago it didn't even get the same version as xbox 360 and PS3. They've finally updated it to be that version, but next gen is now well ahead again.

Graphics wise I found PC games looked better than Pre-PS4 consoles. This is pretty standard thinking. Probably still applies today. Depends on having a good system also.

Not true, it's the same version.

Yeah, my apologies. I just read that it was on the ignite engine this year. They've done much better with the "next gen" to PC port this time around. When 360 and PS3 were the "next gen" it took quite a few releases before the PC got the same version.

Yeah, I agree with that - but generally with FIFA it hasn't previously been the case.

Think I'll get FIFA for PC now that I know it's on Ignite. Means I get the latest version, and also get mods etc.
