Im not too familiar with moddingway. I think both patches are using the same files in some parts. So you have to be careful in which order you install the files.

Are you using the latest moddingway patch?
Which db are you using?
If you can give me a description of your install process, i might be able to help you.

Have you ever tried to proceed to next season with moddingway only and without beta´s career patch?

Installed moddingway first, then career patch, then regenerated. I will try tomorrow to uninstall the patch and load my save at the end of the first season. If I can progress to the 2nd season, it's a problem with the patch. If not, then moddingway is the problem. That being said, I wouldn't see any reason why moddingway would cause the crash since it only changing DB and not career mode files.

Actually, Moddingway would have a lot more to do with the crash because of all the graphical changes. BCP is only a couple of .ini files. Let us know how it goes!

Ok, so I simmed 4 seasons testing youth academy player growth to see how and when the physical attributes of players would start to grow. I left all the growth values at default. Only players with a max scouted potential of 94 were added to the academy.

-In that time out of a total of 17 players promoted (with at least 50 being rejected from the academy), 10 starting consistently after the 1st season, only two players saw any growth; one player at the end of his 1st season, the other halfway into his 3rd.

-The remaining 15 experienced no physical growth at all.

-3 were injured long enough to have their physical stats decline. Upon returning to the starting XI all of their other stats continued to grow but the loss in physical stats they had stayed the same, no growth.

-Players come in with higher starting OVRs than vanilla, including physicals depending on what the scout looked for and actual position.

-As in vanilla Wingers are still the position to scout for physically good players with their starting physicals being better than vanilla. I had 2 LBs and 2 ST with starting pace, agility, and reactions of at least 80, one of which had 96, 92, 90, 83, and 88 in speed, accel, agility, stamina, and reactions respectively.

-May 1st growth is much better than vanilla with most high potential players coming in at 68-75 OVR after only one May 1st growth update.

I was terminated while simming the 5th season (I don't think CONTRACTTERMINATION is the value to change to not be fired if you don't meet the board's objective) so I couldn't continue any further. I like to build through youth with a Football League 2 team in my careers and by default it doesn't look like they have long term viability. They're higher than vanilla starting OVRs but low physicals make them little more than a revenue stream to buy real players with more competitive physicals. While physicals aren't everything it's just more work to beat an EPL team whose sub defender is faster than your 83 OVR attacker.

What happened to all the ini files including board, cmsettings, etc. they don't show up in the latest version.

Is that string in transferteamdecision.ini or do I need to add it myself?

Edit:
That string wasn't in transferteamdecision.ini so I added it at the end. Tried to sim through a bad season and got fired so it didn't work.

I give up. Re-installed Fifa, no Moddingway or any other mods. Installed career patch with player ratings revealed, gameplay patch and revolutionary mod selected. Played one season, still crashing when I progress to the second. This is becoming extremely frustrating.

Try un installing the gameplay patch. Or you can try deleting the database files that come with the mod (FIFA 15\data\db). If none of those seem to work than maybe there is something wrong with your computer? Do you have the legit copy or a cracked one?

I had that issue before. It was a corrupt db for me. Remove the db file from data/db and then try progressing in your career. It should work. Assuming you started your career with the vanilla db.

Sorry what do you mean? I'm using a vanilla db at the moment and if I were to delete the DB wouldn't Fifa freeze or crash?

I've tried already to install without gamepaly patch. I'm not using the DB with the mod, i'm using EA's latest squads. Legit copy.

It didn't crash for me. My Nottingham career kept crashing on progressing to the second season. This method worked for me, althoughI had to start a new career. Removing the db shouldn't crash your game. Make a backup in any case.

The ratings reveal isn't working. I've installed the mod twice making sure it was selected during install both times and it's still just like vanilla.

Tried removing the db and the game froze before the language screen. Maybe I'll just wait until a more stable version is released. Anyways, thanks for your help.

Hi Beta! Can you please tell me what to file to change to lower the player value/cost? I'm trying to buy Varane and Laporte and even for 40 mil. they don't agree because the player are too valuable while Varane has squad rotation role

, please help me with this Beta, cheers!

Is there a way in general to install your mod only for player growth? Because the only problem that i see in fifa is young player growth and generated players that are rarely good.

1. Install patch with ONLY the db edits selected.

2. Open teamtransferdecision.ini in Notepad++ (make sure to Run As Administrator).

3. You'll see about 20 or so lines with stuff for career mode (contracttermination, board, etc). Leave that stuff alone.

4. Scroll to the bottom and you'll see the strings for player growth. Leave that stuff alone.

5. Delete everything between the two sections previously mentioned (backup the file just in case).

6. Save & test.

Didn't really know where to place this but this seems like a suitable place

I was wondering why my created players face isn't generated anymore as a mini face.

I remember when I first installed FIFA 15, and would start a new player career ( as a created player ) it would always generate a mini face for him. Now it just shows up as blank. I did a fresh install of FIFA and the same thing happeend. Any help would be appreciated. THanks
