FIFA 15 Better Career Patch

I have noticed in this last patch that the ai team keeps playing the ball to the goalkeeper or conceding throw-ins. It constantly breaks the flow of play. How can I change that? Thanks.

*edit: I reinstalled the patch and now the game is playing well, I have one question though, how do I slowdown the ai players? As soon as I get the ball they come running and always catch me no matter how fast my player is sprinting, anyone knows what is the value that I need to change?

*edit2: CPUAI_USE_DIFFICULTY when set to 1 is what makes the strange behaviour of the ai players.

Can someone please tell me why i don't have original groups in champions league at the start? :) I have installed latest Moddingway with database, and then this mod with this database. I've regenerated files with with bhl, and even created new game profile, but seems that CL drafts are not working properly.
Have i made a mistake?

This 'should' mean when should the curve effect starts in. But so far I don't know what values are used for this. Maybe it is used to 'force' the curve effect to take place if a player has this overall/age, just to be sure.

I think it's better to test out all of the strings and see what happens when you change their values. But since my time is very limited, and found out tweaking the values to much causing issues (e.g. weird player growths at the end of the season, etc.), I haven't looked at this.

Yes, exactly. I'm pretty sure that these lines dictate that the players will start to use the CM_PHYS_X_0 etc. values for their further growth/decrease instead of the usual values.

Also you also have these ones:

I'll be honest, I haven't looked at the exe at all and don't really know what you're talking about.
As I said, the CM values are likely coding older players' growth if they have a particular OVR or higher (80 at default), no idea what the rest aside from NORMAL does. But I can tell you that changing anything in OLD_MENTAL_X/Y didn't have any effect. Does the Xbox 360 version also have the CM values?

OLD_MENTAL_X = xbox 360, but not sure if the PC version is also using it. But since the *.ini files are still encrypted, we have to try to fine out.

Hi guys.
I have been wondering , why allmost every brazilian player is named da silva and dos santos in career mode , when is real life they use their nicknames?
On the shirts in game they are named da silva ( I have in my team 6 players named da silva and dos santos) , and is anything we can do to change that?

You should modify the database. You can use Rinaldo's Creation Master/Db Master.

this patch is playable for now? or better to wait for Final release or something like that? just don't wanna to start 20 times in career mod.

Update to RC3, see changelog for details. :)
A lot of fixes and added a few extra features.
It should also fixed the crash issues. Since the previous version had the crashing problem, I have moved them out of the main download folder.


Still searching for improvements, would like to add something like loan players can play against loaned team, but that seems a bit difficult.
Also I would like to tweak the commentary a bit more. The same stories about Arsenal, etc. are so boring.. :P

Imo, "OLD" and "YOUNG" are used depending on where the player is on his OVR/Potential curve. So for example players with an early increase will also decrease earlier. But it's just a guess since this file doesn't seems to work properly so I can't try my theory.

Thanks for the info. :)

The main problem if we don't know if it used at all, since it wasn't there in the previous FIFA (14) version and we use files from the Xbox 360 version.

It takes time to test this out, but haven't got the time to test it. If someone has the time for it, I will add it to this patch, with the credits of course. :)

transfers seem to be acting a bit weird for me in the latest version.

I am getting really low offers for all my players. For example, I was trying to sell a striker worth 1.6 million dollars, and I recieved offers like 60,000 or 200,000 etc. Some clubs offer 600,000-900,000 and when I asked for more, there next offer is less. (eg they respond with 300,000 and it gets lower when I ask for more)

This is the same when I try to sell a player on good form. Normally, I could ask teams for double what he's worth and if he's on good form, they'll pay it. Now they wont even offer me what they are worth.

Sorry to rant on, just something I've noticed a lot.

Congratulations for the mod, beta. Only one thing ..I think that the values of the players are very high. Which line should I change to get my way? And on the above post, on the receive much money for a player in good shape, I figured it out:

It should already be edited, please open transferteam...ini and check for team management. ;)
