I recommend you to make sure that you are using a non installer version of blender, completely remove the addon, redownload and download it again. Also make sure that you are not using the FIFA 14 script simultaneously. Just in case.

Can you please name the materials you used? Could it be that you are using any special ones? Usually these weird lights appear when a material is not set up correctly.

If the object have no material the script will prompt you an error. You can export so that means that all your objects have materials. I believe that these additional objects that you added are not properly setup. If you tell me the material names that these objects had initially i may find a way to make them work.
Btw i recommend that you append objects as they are directly from fifa, because the texture order needs fixing, and if you don't fix it, the results could be really unstable ingame. You are already playing with fire here :P

The script always works like that. You can just think the script forces you to make a backup of your files.
