I did some quick research and there is absolutely no talk about there being any problems with his fitness (or if there is, it is most definitely being kept away from the limelight, but usually stuff like this is very difficult to keep as a secret).
It's just that he's considering renewing his contract and actually staying. Some Dortmund fans think he's just waiting for Barcelona's transfer ban to expire while others don't really want him to stay anymore.
