OK, I'll try to be precise. If I use your texture file, but change the model file, I can see the studs in a full color, but if I use your model, the studs looks to have some details that makes me think that the model you decided to use is not the right one... the texture don't match very well. I've replaced the model with the num. 28, and the boot looks diferent. Have you used model 76? I'll try to send some images...
