Gabriel paulista from Villarreal. Monstrous 1v1,quick,athletic and very alert. Looks like a bargain.

Aaah Gabriel... Havent you signed him for like 30m last transfer window? That was so random.

It's a shame poor old West Ham cant play away at a CL spot contender every week :(

Sterling get a lot of critic but he did the right thing to not waste his career like Steven Gerrard.
He got his first City goal today, wonderful start, the kid is legit.

can't blame them for hating playing at home, and thriving in more lavish surroundings; upton park, with west ham and east ham on either side, is in a crap part of town ...

I think they're going to be interesting wild cards this season - and the will they/wont they (get relegated before moving into olympic park) story will provide an interesting and ongoing narrative.

Of all EPL teams I think Norwich are the least equipped for going down to ten men, relying as they do on a packed midfield, lots of changes/injections of energy and generally having otherwise mediocre bodies everywhere. Not surprised we are getting stomped.

Mane looking great.

Mane's first few steps are ridiculously fast, he has a great acceleration compared to a lot of the traditionally fast players like Bale and Walcott

This weekend has further confirmed my theory that the EPL is a bunch of overhyped mid table teams taking points off each other!!

City is the only team with a respectable lineup after getting De Bruyne, but even they will be out in UCL quarter finals...

With that squad, EPL+CL semifinal is a must for Citeh.

I am very curious to see if they finally beat their CL blues this season. What has to be said is that the undoubtedly remarkable talent they have added to their squad this season - Sterling, Otamendi, De Bruyne - all have one thing in common, practically zero experience at the business end of the Champions League.

Oh and tits.
And their star striker which mostly sets them apart from all the PL rivals can easily get injuries. But that squad on paper looks unbeatable in the league.

De Bruyne has winner mentality, thats gonna help them in CL knock outs. Kun staying fit is key too, theres a huge difference between him and Bony...

Team Captain
Sterling as a striker is shit. I think he should play on the wings, not centrally. He had to play centrally for Liverpool because Liverpool spent the whole summer buying impotent strikers like Balotelli and Lambert. Bony is a true striker who will score goals. I think he's a very good backup striker.
