Not really, but throwing the ball that far with such a high arc is I guess. Generally it's not really something that shows skill, hence the name "Hail Mary". You just throw the ball up in the air and pray.

Deshaun Watson has a shot next year to surpass Cam Newton as the best college QB I've ever seen. He is so damn good. An undefeated season this year would go a long way.

Vikings-Seahawks looks like it's going to be good.

Btw, why does American broadcasting put the home team's name on the right? Is it because it's Seattle at Minnesota?

I don't know, but my guess is that the other sports carried over from baseball. The home team is listed on the bottom in baseball because they bat in the bottom of innings.

Are hail-maries impressive though? Good on him for avoiding pressure and playing it up but the ball stayed in the air for a long time and anyone out of like 7 people could have caught it.

Yeah - I was more referring to staying on his feet long enough, and then reeling off the huge pass - which whilst being a hail mary, was still well weighted to come down perfectly in the end zone.

This is what I had always been taught was the reason. It always seems strange to me too.

But this also makes sense.

This game reminded me of the Cardiac cats of old, and to See Delhomme in the sidelines, brought back some warm memories.

12-0 and it feels amazing.

By the way, what a game with the Eagles v Patriots. Pats almost came back to pull it off.

Pissed about the Pats loss, but I obliterated my opponent thanks to Cam and Allen Robinson. On to the final and 500 bucks!

A few weeks ago I saw a vid on yuotube where some guy was talking about NBA being a star-player sport whereas NFL is more of a team game. From there they started debating which teams had the best superstar trio on offense, as in, QB and two offensive weapons. So last year, for example, you could argue that Pittsburgh and Dallas had the best with Big Ben, Brown and Bell / Romo, Bryant, Murray. Who do you guys think has the best trio? Also, if you had to do the same on defense, picking just one guy from the defensive line, linebackers and secondary, who would have the best?

You could say Rodgers, Nelson and Lacy before the season but Rodgers is struggling, Nelson blew out his knee and Lacy is a shadow of his former self.

Pitt is a good example... Jaguars, although young have a very solid trio for the future. Blake Bortles, Allen Robinson and TJ Yeldon. Another good young trio is Winston, Martin, Carlos*son. Honestly due to the salary cap it's difficult to have a good trio like that without having one position lacking, especially since running backs seem to be a dime a dozen save the Adrian Peterson's and Matt Forte's of the NFL.

Double post, but I'll post my soon to be league winning lineup as I'm obliterating my opponent. (H)

QB: Cam
RB1: Jonathan Stewart
RB2: Matt Forte
WR1: Allen Robinson
WR2: Doug Baldwin
Flex: Danny Amendola
TE: Gronk
D/ST: Panthers
K: Graham Gano

500 bucks richer!!! (H)

that was a one sided game, and I for one am glad to have seen the Panthers on the dominating side.

So now we can clinch home field advantage if we beat the Giants. That should be fun to watch next week.

Chargers are looking to retain that #3 overall pick by losing to the Broncos on Sunday.

Cheering against my team has never felt so good. :( (H)

Who do you want to draft with that pick? I can see you winding up with Bosa or one of the top tackles. Getting a future replacement for Rivers so early seems like a waste.
