Aaawww no too bad man, your family are the most important. I wish I could do something to help.
Are you buying an apartment through a mortgage? or do you need a deposit for renting?
Yeah in my country young people are screwed if they want to buy a house. There is schemes but its all bs. I had the money saved and attempted to get oa mortgage last year and I was rejected. I had to spend the money paying off debts that I didn't even know about from up to 10 years ago. So now I'm back at the beginning saving just to try again.
I'm sure you'll figure things out.

Did you try Halifax? They are pretty well known for excepting younger morgages.
