FIFA 17 Licenses

Hi!
EA officially announced a exclusive partnership with La Liga.

Could it possibly means that BuLi and Liga gets stadiums and real faces ?

About new leagues, CSL and J-League seems to have a partnership with EA but nothing new about it now :D

I´m pretty sure that only new scoreboard will be added. Can´t see EA making a whole treatment on faces for example.
Maybe for FIFA 18, what is a shame!

At least Chu Boi confirmed that Dybala will have a realistic face, maybe some teams get scanned.

Don't know, they had time for Bundesliga as the agreement wqs signed last year.
And especially it's the first time we did'nt have much of la Liga and Bundesliga in the trailer. Maybe something big to come.

According to great french website, fifagamersblog, they will talk about license next conference, for the first time we will have a focus on licenses ;)

Can't wait to see what they've got in store for the CSL. It's probably not a huge surprise given that they're looking to become a power in the world of football and have made some great signings.

Amazing news about the J-League!!

EA attacking japanese market is how they will kill Konami
That is one of the more ignorant and uninformed comments I've ever read on this forum. Competition leads to better games for everyone. You know why FIFA is half-decent every year, and why EA's Madden and NHL series' have been complete and utter garbage for a decade? KONAMI and PES.

Agreed, no good competition or no competition at all means you get shit because that is all that is available.

Naturally with only one option available you either take it or leave it.

Threads like this always show who the PC oldies are versus the console kids who grew up playing PS2 and Xbox 360. Back in the late 90's for example, PC Madden was actually a sim game with all kinds of customization options. You could create custom leagues, custom CPU plays and playbooks, you name it. All that changed when the other three PC football games on the market folded. No competition meant EA was free to eliminate all those customization options and just release the same garbage game every year.

PC golf was the most simulation-oriented sport of all of them. At one point there were six PC sim golf games on the market. Tiger Woods 2000 for example is considered one of the most challenging video golf games ever, it definitely wasn't a game for the pick-up-and-play console crowd. And what happened again? EA ended up with the only game on the market, after which the series turned into an arcade joke, designed and geared towards kids who wanted a game where they could to drive the ball 400 yards, sink 30 foot putts with ease, and finish every round in the 50s.

I played on PC since Fifa 03 mates.
Sorry if i get misunderstood but PES was still leader in Japan mainly because of the J-League exclusive.

EA never get in touch with japanese football, i don't know if you realise that PES just loss their "main" license, their first one. That's why i said that's the way they will kill Konami, Japan was the only country where FIFA was unexistant.

Now EA is on this market, Konami could start to regress in that zone, furthermore, i am pretty sure that the Men and Women NT's of Japan will follow.

Sorry if i did'nt explain well on the post that caused problem mates!

No problem, thanks for explaining, and believe me I think Konami is screwing gamers by releasing broken games every year. I won't have anything to do with PES, not until that game is completely revamped. But I still hope they get their act together at some point because then we'll have two games to choose from.

Maybe i will look stupid, but the reason i never buyed a PES game is the lack of licensings.
Just for the career mode, FIFA has always been over the Masters League in realism.

Now they must do something new, because Japan was their "heart", withouth them, PES is almost gone, so let's see what they will purpose on Gameplay etc..

That should never be an issue, every year PES community releases kit and face patches that are many times more accurate than anything Konami or EA creates.

I won't buy PES because it's broken and there are no edits that can fix the gameplay. But licences... you can always easily download and update that aspect of PES.

Yes i agree, but there was a lot of things to change, ( relegations, realistic transfermarket etc.. ). :D
