I did tried they already but I prefer the bangus sliders.
The sliders and tactics settings on Operation Sports are for console gamers who are content with the default arcade game play, because they can't/have no interest in globally editing DB values. You're a PC sim gamer like me, so those sliders and settings will be of no use to you anyway. That said, I'll repeat what I said before: your sliders are determined by whatever edits you've done to the DB, and to player and team values. And the edits you do, affect how much you need to adjust sliders. Example:

To a degree, CPU pass accuracy is coded to correlate to the default speed and accel ratings. If you lower players' speed and accel ratings, it throws off the timing of CPU passes, resulting in more missed passes. To get realistic CPU pass percentages with the default ratings, you have to raise the CPU pass error slider into the high 80s and 90s. But if you've lowered CPU speed and accel ratings, you would only have to raise that slider into the 70s and low 80s.

Likewise, I lower players' agility ratings way down, which affects the CPU's ability to handle passes and loose balls. To see realistic levels of CPU ball touch control with default ratings, you would need to raise the CPU first touch control error slider into the 60s and 70s. But if you've lowered CPU agility ratings, you might not even have to move that slider from default 50.

And there is no one set of sliders that works for every team and every league. The "star" teams in FIFA specifically are so over-powered (cheat boost affect) that you could and should create separate slider setups for, not just the different team tiers and leagues, but for those specific teams.

That's one of the ways I kill the CPU cheat boost coding BTW: lowering CPU speed, accel and agility ratings. With default ratings, when the CPU cheat boost coding kicks in, CPU FWs continually make impossible dashes past your defenders and end up alone in front of your goal as they perfectly handle the perfect cross with perfect precision, and bang... CPU goal scored. But when you lower those ratings, and when the cheat boosts kick in, CPU FWs struggle to get behind your defenders as they no longer have the speed and acceleration to do so at will. And if they do on occasion end up near the goal alone, and a cross comes in, first of all the cross isn't as accurate because the lowered speed and accel ratings have thrown off the coded CPU pass timing. Also those CPU FWs receiving the ball aren't as likely to cleanly handle the ball and get an impossibly quick shot off, given they're no longer unrealistically agile.

I have lowered all players attribute ratings and now Messi the highest rated player is a 61 overall, no single attribute is over a 61 and it significantly effects the gameplay for the better along with sliders the game is very good.

Only downfall is Career Mode because of player values.

I have also lowered all players potential as well including the youth and regen players attributes and potential also.

Regarding career mode crash, i had it to work by comparing fidel's mwm based db and mwm 6.0 db table by table and extracting and importing the tables with changes from fidesl's db to the mwm db. Not sure i found them all but afer siming one and a half season and playing a couple of games (chinese super league) the career mode works fine now and the gameplay and players values match with fidels mwm based db.

The tables to import to mwm db are following:

-career_regenplayerattributes
-career_youthplayerattributes
-default_teamsheets
-defaultteamdata
-fieldpositionboundingboxes
-MatchIntensity
-players

Great - thanks for this! (Y)
But then (if you import Fidels players.txt into the MWM database) you will miss newly created players from the original MWM DB, right?

No you will have all the extra players with Fidels corrected values (less balance, acc, agility etc...) if you export the tables from Fidel's mwm 6.0 based db.

Yet i don't know what causes the crash. I thought exprting/importing wouldn't work because i thought the crash comes from some change in those tables but seems like its something else, or it comes from a table i missed . With fidel's mwm 6 based DB i could do a half season in some leagues (msl and brasil) but it crashed again at the first summer transfer window while other leagues crashes at career generation (after choosing club and manager profile). Strange but maybe a hint. It seems the transfer windows causes the crash (mls and brasil leagues begin after the january window so no crash until the summer transfer window). If i remember well, european leagues careers begin in the summer transfer window right? So maybe that's why the crash occurs immediatly at career generation.)

But whatever, the gameplay feels the same with the mwm original db + imported tables as with Fidel's mwm based db.

Welcome. Yes try it if u want, or maybe Fidel will fix it until then.

I simed 5 seasons now with some games played, club moves and transfers activities and it seems stable for now.

Does someone know how to disable the Flair trait? Player with that trait tend to do annoying fancy backheel passes.

In the CL i found SKILL_FLAIR=5 but changing the value doesn't do anything.

DBM, export players table, open in Excel, sort traits column low to high, locate players with flair trait ID, either assign a different trait ID or delete the flair ID.

Thank you Bangus! I did it and got something like that:

Honestly i don't understand anything :D There are no similarities, each player has a different trait code even if they share the same trait.

Some trait codes are single traits, and some are combination traits (more than 1 trait). I spent a couple days with FIFA 13 and went through all the trait codes to find out which codes assigned which traits. I doubt there's a detailed trait list like that for FIFA 16, most people don't care about editing details like that. But you may find a generic list somewhere, for the single trait codes anyway.

To set up a trait code test DB: Create 3 players (or more if you want the test to go faster) with ID 70000, 70001 and 70002 (easy then to find these players to edit them). Place these 3 players on your test team. Edit their trait codes and give each a different code. Save, then go into CM 16 (or you might have to go right into the game) to see which traits were assigned to each player. Make a list of each code and which traits it assigns the player. Exit the game, open the players table, sort the players by their ID, find players 70000, 70001 and 70002, assign them 3 new trait codes, save, go into CM 16/the game and check their new traits, etc and so forth.

Here's the trait code thread from FIFA 14: http://www.soccergaming.com/forums/showthread.php?t=187809&highlight=traits

Thank you Bangus for all those explanation! I tried to put all traits off for C Ronaldo with CM16 and it logicaly shows 0 in the db table but when i just put flair in his trait list i have a number like 600 000. Not sure i'll get the logic of this ;)

If it works fine after restarting the game, why is that a problem? Seems like a non-issue.
