Actually, now I'm having a problem with RC Strasbourg from French cmp. I try to edit the formation and it crashes when I change tabs, as well as before kickoff.

Yup, most likely you have duplicate formations in your FORMATIONS table. This is sometimes caused when changing/editing formations with CM16. You can either try to delete the formations and create new ones in CM16, or even better; open the DB with DBMaster and make sure you don't have duplicate formations for the teams that you import.

OK I see. How would you delete the default formation for the team in CM16? Can you make a new formation and set that as the default?

Well there are different ways to solve your problem....

Write down what team(s) crash/freeze when you try to switch to the FORMATIONS tab. Then one of these solutions:

* Delete the team and re-import the patch. Don't touch the formations.

-OR-

* Write down the team ID and search for it in the FORMATIONS table (open the DB with DBMaster) - delete any duplicate formations so that you only have ONE formation. <-- this is the best alternative to be 100% sure you don't have duplicate formation.

I don't know how I did it, but I managed to make it work! I reloaded the patch, then checked DBmaster to make sure the formation wasn't duplicated, and voila!

marcas, in the formations table in DB I see some teams with (-1) in the teamid field?

any idea what they are? i suspect they are generic ones but in CM16 I see 33 generic formations, in DB formations table there are 35.

Yes the "-1" formations are indeed generic. Sometimes when I fiddle with the formations, CM16 somehow creates these "new" generic ones. It shouldn't be a problem, and I usually just delete them. Haven't noticed any problems at all.

But like I always say: Keep a backup of your current DB so that you always can go back.

If they are at the TOP of the table, leave them be. But if it's further down the line, I suspect they have been added later, and can be deleted.

i looked again and here it is:

the 33 generic formations (like I saw them in CM16) have formationid from 1-33.

these 2 "intruders" are 783 and 787.

are you sure it is ok to delete them or just leave them as "garbage"

ps: if you want please advise me with some cross-checks in DB - i am pretty good at excel (pivots, vlookups, etc ...)
for example like you said - check if a teamid from formations table have more than 1 formation assigned.

Yes it looks to me like you can delete those if you like. Also, I don't use excel for a simple check like that. Just search the team-id, and if I find more than one result, then there is a dup. of course :-)

But I guess if you have lots of teams to check, then it would be best to export the table and then import to excel to check for dups.

Guys, can someone make a list of teams that are in Fifa 15, which is not in Fifa 16 and which have not been established in this patch? Ie, those who departed from the championships in the lower divisions, which are not represented in the game. Just then I heard that after CMP can drag out of Fifa 15 in Fifa 16 team and would like to add that the team left the game

You can check for yourself using sofifa.
