what excites me most is not only did this team dominate but it also still has room for upgrades - the system and attitude is so good, yet clearly a griezman or James would be an upgrade on Pedro, a koulibaly an upgrade on Cahill, probably a lichtsteiner on moses and even a nainggolan on matic, and people are going to WANT to join this team, so with some prudent business we could take further steps forward this season and be equipped to fight a European campaign in addition to defending our title

we sold him for pretty much what we paid for him, it says loan but it's a 3 year loan totalling about 30m - just an FFP trick really. I'm disappointed we didn't give him more of a chance but we haven't lost much money on it overall

I think the loan is 5 mil a season for 3 seasons, but after each season Juve has the right to purchase him for a sum getting smaller each year because of the loan fees. There are also certain terms in which Juve are obliged to buy him. It's a complex deal, typical Juve.

hope not. still two seasons on his contract after this, so I hope we will just knuckle down and refuse to sell even if he won't sign another. 35m is the most real will pay for a keeper and two more years of him is worth that, besides the fact that he will probably re-sign if we make it clear we won't be forced. it would be gutting to go from having two of the best keepers in the league to none.

the rumour I heard was that if we did sell him we would look to replace him with Joe Hart which again is not my dream switch

Yes and they could go on a massive roll. if they beat us (though we do play them at home), it's five, if we lose at old Trafford, it's 2. that means we only have to drop points to one relegation fighter for it to be level, assuming city win everything. fixture list is in our favour - city game at home and the run in not as tough as it could be (even most of our relegation scrapper games are at home) - but I'm still nervous

I think City could close the gap, but with an 8 point lead you are still clear favorites. I don't think City are going to run the table, and they have Champions League games while you don't.

but they have Pep ... he can win league and cup with ease and champions league SF is guaranteed ... and he can do it with any team.
