Starting Manager Mode From Season 2004/2005

I'm having some problem with MLS, i believe is a schedule problem:

- with default schedule there are no League matches, it starts with conference playoffs
- with custom schedule it just crashes

The competion structure is:
- 10 teams
- 5 teams per conference
- 30 legs, 5 matches each leg



any advice?

Why are there 2 groups in each conference?

Check in the "N of Teams Table" Where you set the Qualification Rule if there are 5 Games..

Just clash 'em together to a traditional league system. That eastern/western thing is a fly in the eye.

I find a solution

MLS, like other leagues, uses a real schedule
but other leagues, such as Serie A or Premier League, use it just for year 2015 while MLS use this schedule every year

740,schedule_year_real,2015 //Serie A 2015

compdata/schedules/c31_s1_2015.txt //Serie A Real Schedule 2015
compdata/schedules/c39_s1_0.txt //MLS Real Schedule every year


due to the particular structure of MLS you MUST use the real schedule but, for the reason you can't set a schedule in the classic shedule.txt (or the game will crash) the calendar starts on the playoff dates, missing all the previous league matches

i found a way to trick the system by creating a fake stage as S2 (Friendly Type), just after the S1 (the regular season) but setting it to start a couple of days before the regular season starts

it seems to work :)

now the long, boring process starts by creating the regular season calendar by hand :\

In my own personal DB, I just deleted the vanilla MLS League and made a custom standard league system. It works and it doesn't crash.

But then again, my season doesn't start 2004/2005...
