Does anyone know why is Xavi's commentary name "Turnbull" in the patch, even though he was still an active player at Barcelona during FIFA 14 and has a proper "Xavi" commentary in vanilla game? Also David "Stanton" Trezeguet? He was at Newell's Old Boys in FIFA 14.
Both have correct IDs in the patch.

There some bug that i ve found :
- Emerson in Brazil and in juventus (club version) have a bug with is hair , from the match camera view it looks like bald
- in Delle alpi stadium the adboards behind the goals have serie a new logo that looks strange in world cup 1990

I will try to found other bug and report , thanks for the huge work .

-poland: invert socks for combinations, away kit must wear the home socks , the white prevails more then red ,etc
-trinidad and tobago : black short agains sweden
-oparahuay : shirt, short and socks all blue

Please consider fixing some textures for collars:



  • Brazil 2006 home kit could also use a little socks fix, they are different from alternative versions in Nike logo and 5 stars.
  • Russia 2008 on the back of the collar should also be РОССИЯ instead of ROSSYA (correct spelling is Rossiya).
  • Silvestre Mikaël in France 2006 should be the same player as in 2001, 02, 03, 04.

This is the best patch for FIFA I have ever seen and needs much more recognition. This is not only testament to history of football, but to history of FIFA series as well. I believe it deserves it's own subforum so more people can find out about it. It would also be easier to contribute and track progress if there were separate threads regarding database, teams, players, assets, etc.

Seriously, this patch is an independent game on its own and need to be treated as such. It outshines FIFA14 and for it to be buried in FIFA14 forums isn't fair. I've been user on soccergaming for many years and just discovered it recently only because 14 wasn't my favorite. But now, thanks to Classic Patch I will be happy playing only 14 for the rest of my life ;-)

Anyone who contributed to it is simply a legend, especially @GIGGIRIVA, @Atomasoni and @Acicog. The amount of work and attention to details is staggering. To think you have been working on it for over five years blows my mind. Thank you!

I am well aware that it isn't flawless and there are bugs and innacurracies that need fixing. For example: stadiums. They are making the biggest disservice of your work! Many stadiums models just don't live up to the quality of assets you created and including them just for the sake of it is a mistake, especially if they are mandatory for whole patch to work. Sometimes "less is more" and I personally would be happy to play on some generic stadium instead of poorly converted one, with bugged lighting and crowds because it just make the game look worse than it actually is.

Nonetheless - KEEP UT THE GREAT WORK!

Thanks for the greatest patch ever ! I agree is like a new game. One proposal. I think Garry Lineker must be in Tottenham squad 1990 and in Everton 1985, in club patch.

Sorry if we don't post any news but in these days we haven't much free time. So after a lot of your report we decide to check all the patch, from 1900 to 2017. We check all players, related graphics (real faces, bump, hairs). We decide also to don't insert special letters on "jersey names" because a lot of font that we use in the patch doesn't have these special letters. We check a lot of graphics contents and delete useless ones. We fix all your report, and fix some problems with some stadiums.
Now the size of the patch are reduce and probably we will reupload all the patch.
Sorry to all of you, we told that the last released was the AIO (all in one) but after these fix, probably the AIO will be the new version.

How about applying the stadium pack to clubs version in the meantime before new versions are relesead?
Luzhniki stadium for UCL 2008 final and Spartak & CSKA, Stade de France for UCL 2006 final, Estadio Jose Alvalade for UEFA cup 2005, Olypmiastadion Munchen for Bayern, Delle Alpi for Juventus, etc.
The stadiums are already available, just require assignments in the DB.

And also if there is a big revision planned, I suggest replacing low quality faces converted from fifa 12-13 with newer ones, created for fifa 14, e.g. Colombia 2014 team is full of lifeless converted faces, while there a lot of nicer ones available.

Also using fifa 13 converted faces means using bumps, so whenever a new better face comes out and one wants to install it, they need to also search and delete the bumps.

This patch is an ALL-IN-ONE and not an update, so be sure to install the patch in a new clean FIFA 14.

CHANGELOG:
+ fixed all “jerseyname”. From now noone have special letters in the shirts because some of them are missing in the font;
+ fixed bug/error on some stadiums;
+ delete all unnecessary graphics files like (specific fonts, head bump etc…);
+ integrated the bootpack tournament (actually Euro 2016 and Confed 2017);
+ fixed a lot of ID’s like original EA ID’s;
+ add some retro jerseyfont;
+ fixed Adidas Nemeziz;
