It seems that next year FIFA will have the Champions and Europa League licences, that's great but let's hope the ultimate team mode gameplay will be revisited, this year' script is terrible.

Let's not go down that path, shall we?
It's all about perspective, average income, prices and exchange rates.
You say 60-70 USD is a McDonalds bill, well I can have lunch at McD for 5 USD. Or ride a taxi across town for 3 USD. Or spend 0 USD on my surgery.
Games won't sell here for 70 USD (100+ if you count all the premium bs) because that's out of local price range, that's why they are cheaper. On the other hand they are region locked which is inconvenient because in case of Fifa we don't get English as an option anymore (it used to be about the same price before 2014 when USD was twice as cheap).
Personally I got FIFA18 for 5.5 USD and I consider it a bargain, got the English commentary in a matter of minutes thanks to this forum.

So I tried your method (English files and your Rus to Eng exe) and it worked!
Just a couple questions now:
- I hope you'll be there when WC2018 DLC comes out on May 29 to update the files & exe (because I'm a noob at hex editing) with new commentary.
- Is there a chance to get multiple commentary languages in the Russian locked version of the game?

I think that the FIFA 18.exe file you DL was older than the update on March 26th.
Please edit the latest exe with HexEditer.

Perhaps, the global (Europe?) Region seems to contain DB files of all text languages.
To use an unsupported text language, you need to edit FIFA 18. exe with the Hex editor.
Also, to use an unsupported commentary language, enable that text language and place a commentary language file.

My fifa 18 is in russian and it starts and play matches very well ,

I dont understand russian so I need english language so
I edit and save the fifa18.exe as you said and it starts in english okay

But when starting any match the game crash and fully close without any warning or message

But when putting the original fifa18.exe back the match start and complete normally without crash , in russian of course .
.
please help me as i know no russian at all .

Thx for uploaded! but when I play WC mode the game was crash.
I downloaded Japanese and MX version.
data size of both files is same to past file size.
so maybe those files are not updated .
are you change language of "Advanced Launch Options" for download each language files?

I have downloaded the commentary file by changing "Advanced Launch Options" twelve times.
It is a very long time.
I will check the commentary file uploaded when I return home.

I was check my file and the patch folder could not be copied correctly.
after copying that folder again, it worked perfectly!

2. Select "Russian" for "Game Language" in "Advanced Launch Options".
3. Save your changes.
