Northern Ireland played in the away white kit from EURO 2016 against Bosnia-Herzegovina this morning. I will add it as a third 2018 kit, as well as being a 2016 kit for qualifiers.

The kit colors in CM are set to dark so I wouldn't expect the game to chose a dark kit for referee as well.

the game chooses the ref color depening ont he color stablished in cm for home and away jerseys

You can set referee colours selection via Rev Mod, but you have to set any other team's as well. So that the game will identify both colours and set another colour for the ref in order to avoid kit clash
