For real players, miniface is determinded by playerid, and for regens, headtypecode and hairtypecode.

You can edit minifaces only via Frosty, because is required to overwrite the default texture (connected to playerid) stored inside legacy bundles.

Just browse the game with Frosty Editor and then preview the ball and check for the ball id to use in RDBM and assign to the league via competition table.
content/character/ball
do the same for something else you are interested for.
