I faced the same issue some years ago and the only solution I could find was changing the net to always be rectangular in game settings. Not the most elegant solution but seems to be the only one to avoid triangular nets in modern matches.

If you need alternative hair idea - maybe from George Best v2 ?
I just thought this can be fixed, so any time you want to play very old eras matches, you don't need to change to triangle etc.

One more question. By next release, could you please give us possibility to set remaining balls visible in game menu using CM14? There are many cool classic balls still possible to add, but now I can't replace unused balls as they are invisible despite I save changes in CM14. When I reopen CM14 after saving, it still shows unmarked field "Visible in Game Menu" and I don't see the ball in game either.

I don't need them in the game, just avaialbility of their slots to add something for my own purpose. You aren't really happy to receive our feedback, you usually turn down our request, so please let us add something offline beside the project. Please don't lock the database. I prefer rather adding new balls than replacing 70s or 80s that I never play.

I accept useful feedback. If you tell me you need a slot (so activating a ball that others don't have) I'm adding an unnecessary ball to the project. It is not a feedback to add a ball (call it a slot, but if I don't use it, it is an extra ball, useless and not classic), it is a useless request. Do you want to add a 70's 80's ball? You have them? Show me, maybe I'll add them to the project. But I can't grant unnecessary slots.
The database is not locked. Anyone who chews not even advanced editing knows why it crashes. I don't mean the system at all for the simple fact that until recently many did the edits they wanted and pestered for requests for help for crashes of teams not in the patch. I am tired of this situation. The patch is made for playing and not editing. If you want to edit, use the master DB. IF I COULD BLOCK THE DATABASE REALLY! There are people who are unable to remove a face bump but edit and mess up everything and then ask for help. I can no longer tolerate it!

First of all I didn't want to make you mad. Sorry, if I did. I am not here to criticize you and not argue either. I think you might not undestand my request. I only meant I would like to be able myself to make unused ball visible in game menu and replace for any classic related missing in patch ball. I always try to give useful and helpful feedback and suggestions. I asked for adding final WC and EURO balls which I sent to acicog. You may call it useless request because it's 2000s era. It's ok. Do what you want. It's your project. And don't be mad.
I set here account thanks to that patch. It inspired me to learn some editing skills and contact some nice people I respect for what they gave me taking a part in this project.

But I'm not mad at you. With nobody. We are all stressed out. I haven't been out of the house for two months so I easily caught up with anyone. Euro balls have already been added and I thank you very much. The problem is, I can't add slots for someone who wants to add something. Me and another 1000 remain one or more modern balls in the classic ... This is not good. Feedback is almost always carried out, often spending sleepless nights to remedy the problem. If you have balls that you want to add that you think will be useful I will add them for everyone.
However if you want to add a balloon:
1) add balls in DB with CM. Save
2) Extract the "teamballs" with DB master from edited DB
3) Add in game original DB.
4) Open DB master and import "teamballs" and save.
