HarryBullZak, is there no way to change the Champions League ball? He's some gray in there and he can't be seen. Moreover, it is only in the Champions League during the career regime. RPL, Europa League and other tournaments it is visible well.

4. I'm very glad that you brought up the issue of giant heads in some of the conversions. It's an issue Pillowbiter used to talk about and tried convincing face convertors to go for quality over quantity, but that didn't lead anywhere. It would be great if faces from newer fifas were converted/adjusted to better match the fifa 14 default body and head proportions. Difference in head sizes also mean that we can't make full use of the variety of hairstyles, since e.g. the properly converted Ronaldinho head fits its ponytail perfectly but doesn't fit his afro hairstyle converted by another modder at all.
Remember I PMd you once sating that if we had uniformity in conversion methods we'd be able to fit several hairstyles and even randomize them ingame on top of a properly converted head model, e.g.:

If you allow me I'd like to comment on this briefly as well. V.K. I completely understand you but it's not simple. As Harry said if somebody would try to do it, it would take absolutely forever manually and is basically impossible. Personally there are two reasons why I never wanted to learn how to scale and do it on my own. First one is that after years of playing I realized FIFA 14 head size is ridiculously small. Bodies are giant compared to the head. I understand that converted heads can sometimes be significantly bigger than what they should be, but I don't even think reducing them to FIFA 14 size is solution, because then they are as I said too small and looks funny and unnatural, at least to me. The perfect size I think would be somewhere in the middle, but again, who is crazy enough to do all that work again?

The second reason why I didn't want to follow Pillowbiter into that quest was that I knew he would do only a handfull of faces and then the rest of thousands of heads would go onto my back to re-create, and I just didn't want to put myself into this kind of commitment. I don't like to leave unfinished work like Pillowbiter did, so I choose not to start at all. I prefer to have all heads out there available in converted size so I can use them all for future creations, and all facemakers like that too as well. And of course they like it, it saves time and all the heads are approximately the same size. If we had a few heads of FIFA 14 size, then a few of converted head size, then a few of middle size, it would be impossible (not impossible but a complete mess) to keep with facemaking. This way at least we have (at least I do, and I believe most other facemakers) the heads base (from which we take head models) in which all the heads are pretty much the same size. Yeah they are maybe a bit bigger, and sometimes even horrendously bigger like Chiellini, but it's not that often. You even have the case that Buffon converted head is too small for example. But that drastic difference happens with how many, 1 out of 30/40/50, even once in 100 faces? The point is that now the most heads out there are pretty similar in size, and for me that is what matter.

The only true solution for what you want would be if somebody showed up, converted ALL THE FACES from FIFA 14 to 20 once again, scale them to same size and publish them. So that facemakers can create from the same base from now on. But nobody has the time or will to do it, which I understand. It requires a lot of time.

Don't forget that facemakers care about every face the same. That is why over years I converted not only Mbappe's, Ronaldo's and Messi's of the game, but also Joe Ward's or Islam Feruz's of the game, unimportant players in all sences, expect facemaking. We facemakers love to have them all in one place and pick from them all, and that variety is what gives us ability to bring quality faces (yeah, sorry that you mean we are all about quantity V.K., some of us are about quality as well).

If somebody supply me with 2204 faces (which is a number I have right now in my base) that are all properly converted, working in game, and reduced in size, I would be more than glad to continue my future works in that size you want. But it's probably not gonna happen.

There, I just wanted to share some thoughts about it.

I can see that a lot of people need replies to their questions. There is quite a lot of misinformation being shared. So when I have a bit of free time today or tomorrow I will review all replies and answer your questions.

v2.30 is almost ready
I will be releasing it either tomorrow night or Saturday morning UK time.
This will include all the scoreboards I have been sent and have found. The new scoreboard switcher software and various other changes.

v2.40 will be the last release, but it will be ICONic
I have decided that v2.40 will be the last release for the 19/20 season mod. You will notice that in v2.30 there are two new teams added - Soccer Aid & FUT Icons. Although they are not playable in v2.30 they will be in v2.40.

These teams will have Icons in both squads. The Soccer Aid team will have the same Icons as the FIFA 20 version. FUT Icons will have the others that are not in that team.

There will also be a single database where one version of the Icons will be added to random teams for use in Career mode. These Icons will be 15-17 with reduced stats appropriate for their age.

My man it was never a jab at you don't get me wrong.
I'm sure we all appreciate that you never fail to convert all faces bar none.

As a complete face making noob I have no idea how much time and effort goes into it so I have no authority to judge, just share what-ifs and would-be-cools. As Harry mentioned, it's more about some of those custom faces and/or less refined conversion methods (like the piggy nose back in the day).
Like with Neymar for example, he has had quite a lot of different hairstyles both custom and EA, and my idea is that it would be cool if there was one golden standard head size so that all those hairstyles would fit automatically and could be randomized.

Now there's Dimitri working on an automated convertor and that would be exciting to see. Maybe one day we'll be able to mass convert thousands of faces and maybe even with set scaling parameters.

Hey, Harry! I think I've found an error in Career mode. I use version 2.20 Base. I play Real Madrid. I finished 4th in my first season and I thought I'm gonna play a playoff round in the CL, but I got directly in the group stage. Maybe it is meant to be like this, idk. But the thing that shocked me is that a team like Ararat (Armenia) got in the groups directly as well. They didn't even play preliminary rounds.
I didn't touch anything except the stadiums finals assignments.
