2:35am, Channel 4.
Paysandu v Boca Juniors

Just starting now.

Probably an old match, but I'll give you a quick run down.

Paysandu are playing Boca Juniors in the Copa Liberatores(sp?), there is a quarter final place up for grabs. Paysandu shockingly beat Boca 1-0 in the first leg which leaves Boca having to win by 2 clear goals.

We get loads of footy. Terrestrial television surprisingly too.

Channel 5 do the UEFA cup early rounds, sometimes get the odd England match, they do some Wales and Scotland matches too. Dutch footy, MLS, Argentinian football is Thursday and Tuesday nights.

Channel 4 did Brazillian football last summer, then it finished, now this is on I am over the moon.

Then if you go onto Sky and Eurosport we get a lot more.

we hardly have any soccer except sbs and epl matches on fox

they have a fox footy channel but not fox soccer:kader:

espn only does cl as well


used to have sky sports when i lived overseas, soccer am is ace(H) tim lovejoy and helen chamberlain:rockman:

yeah they have games practicaly every evening on C4 ... for people who are naughty and watch telly instead of going to bed :p

anyway its not that worth watching

yea when i went to bed this morning there was nowt on... so i flicked it over onto channel 4.. was boring and put me to sleep to be honest..

I remember when C4 used to show Gazetta Football Italia on a Saturday morning and a live Scudetto match on Sunday afternoon, they were the highlights of my weekend 'til they lost the rights :(

They were going to have to pay £20m to keep the rights, im not suprised they turned it down. It was good but thats a rip off
