Agreed. Di Maria, Mascherano, Higuain, Lavezzi etc. etc., and in earlier years people like Tevez, Riquelme and Cambiasso. I think it safe to say Maradona pulled it off with a lot less in 1986. I'm still waiting for Messi to do the same, maybe next year who knows.

I think he should be allowed to leave on his own terms, because of the things he's meant for the club. But I do think its time for a change at Arsenal. Been thinking that for something like 3 years already.

Looking at that Ajax lineup I pretty much agree (even if I'd choose De Boer over Vasovic or maybe put Rijkaard there and select Davids for the midfield). I do find it a disgrace that for the PSV lineup this man isn't included: PFtd5qiPw_U Even as a little kid I sort of secretly admired him...

He is still only 22 though, so we should be careful not to draw definitive conclusions too early. I definitely think going to Koeman's Everton would be a good move for his career. Show what he's worth in a team that has less competition for places. After that we can judge.

I think he means that, knowing Depay, confidence isn't the problem. It looks to me more like a lack of skill to be able to compete at toplevel.
