    From what I've heard the 2900XTX got totally wiped out by the 8800GTX, but like alex said.....lets wait and see. After all the so called "8600ultra" turned out to be a shadow of what it was expected to be so I'm hoping its the opposite in this case :)

    That's because it aint out yet :). Btw Alex, in your opinion should I wait around for the 8600gts and 8600gt? They were my original target but the 128-bit memory bandwidth + 256MB(same as my current card) are kinda putting me off. Your thoughts? PS: SOrry for hijacking your thread O-car :p

    I haven't lived with it yet but I've tried the interface and it felt quite good. My friend said its a pain installing stuff though because you need a vista patch for almost everything.....

    I would definitely recommend a new power supply with the system Alex recommended, at least a quality 500W which would give you lots of headroom to overclock. Go for a good quality 1 as I had a cheap 1 blow up after 8 months. I've been watching that 1 too coz my 6800GS is gettin rather slow...

    Vista Transformation Pack

    I ave it installed at the moment. Its just a visual upgrade and a vista like sidebar added on the right. Not really practical or anything but nice eye-candy if you ask me. However I'm having some issues with it at startup and I'll probably uninstall it soon. And I would definitely not recommend...
