    I wish people would stop using the words "next gen"... It's not like there's anything fundamentally different betweee FIFA 08 on the PC and on the PS3/Xbox 360 - the game engine is just more advanced. And it's not like you can compare fifa to PES here - yes both have upgraded their game engines...

    It would be good if EA started doing this sort of thing - they have hinted that in FIFA 09 the tournaments will be more accurately simulated - ie. two divisions in the MLS, proper Uefa Cup qualification through FA Cup etc. I hope they go even further than this and have specific adboards for...

    What EA are really saying is that they think they will make more money by making their game available to more people (those with old computers, ps2 or xbox). But they aren't stupid, and I think they will realise that in 2009 the only smart decision will be to release only one version...

    Well people worked out from the number of teams EA said would be in the game that there would be a heap of new teams (not including teams in the 3 new leagues) - if these aren't rest of world teams then they'll probably be national teams.

    Well I checked through and they do indeed have every team from the 2007 Asian Champions league (they pretty much just have every korean and australian team plus every team in the ACL). Whether there is a tournament or not, it will be easy to just add every team into a custom tournament...
