    Manchester United F.C Thread [2010/2011]

I don't follow Serie A too much so no, unfortunately I'm not really familiar with him yet. As far as your second statement...you rate him higher than Bale? He's only 21...

This was a gross, disgraceful performance by us. The league is now Arsenal's to lose.

What a circus. Someone's getting sent off today... The second half is probably going to be the beginning of the end of our season.

I am feeling more confident after hearing that Gerrard is out with the groin injury. Sounds like Carroll is going to make his Liverpool bow though...

    Manchester United F.C Thread [2010/2011]

In fairness, the Sunderland keeper made some fantastic saves and a couple defenders came up big and saved the day a few times. But I must say Arsenal got robbed, it was surely a penalty against Arshavin, and even if they didn't convert on that I think the offsides call was blatantly incorrect...

Arsenal just got jobbed by the refs. The rosy-cheeked Russian should've gotten a penalty, and then shortly after that he scored a goal that was incorrectly ruled offsides. So we can't really be sore about how we were done at the Bridge anymore, I think.

I don't think the wings are necessarily covered, outside of Nani anyway. We could use a player with Sanchez's speed and explosiveness. Alas, he'd probably cost more than Ferguson is willing to spend.

I kind of thought Alexis Sanchez was the next big thing in Serie A... I think we should be going after him.

Fletcher has signed on for 4 more years. I don't like it. We need new midfielders.

    New Kits 2011/2012

I wonder how far away we are from national teams getting new kits for every game they play. And club teams changing kits midway through the season. Is there a single prominent club team left that doesn't change both home and away every single season? The leagues need to create a rule that...

    Manchester United F.C Thread [2010/2011]

Because teams play to their level of competition. Same way we can beat City or Arsenal or Spurs but then lose to the worst team in the table (can't even remember what they are called...starts with a W). Anyway...I hope Ferguson gets the touchline ban, he is becoming more and more of an...

    Manchester United F.C Thread [2010/2011]

I was hoping he'd get a ban. It'd be totally different if it was a foul on the ball or just a case of him playing hard and making a poor tackle...but this was completely off the ball and not within the context of the game. You can't just go around throwing elbows like that.

    Manchester United F.C Thread [2010/2011]

The thing that pissed me off the most was that after the match, idiot Ferguson actually had the audacity to say that he saw the replay and that there 'was nothing in it.' Are you kidding me? Nothing in it? Simply put it was a deliberate and vicious elbow by Rooney. It was unprovoked and...

Bale will surely recognize the fact that to continue improving he needs to be playing in Champion's League every season...especially since he's gotten a taste of it this term...if Spurs don't finish top four this season, maybe he'll be enticed to leave. I'd offer up Valencia plus 20 million...

    Manchester United F.C Thread [2010/2011]

Modric will already be 26 by the beginning of next season though. Bale is only 21 I think and is pretty much a younger Cristiano Ronaldo. We need someone who can take over a game like Ronaldo did, and Bale is that kind of player already at 21, imagine what he would be capable of if he came...

I like Schweinie, he is the type of player that is willing to do the work in the midfield and can also create scoring chances, but who knows if he'd be willing to come to England. What's his contract status? I seem to recall that he might be out of contract this summer...if we could sign him...

The royal family of Qatar is about to bid 1.5 billion pounds according to ESPN. I'm sure Malcolm the Deceiver and his cohorts will stupidly reject it though. It must suck to be in a place where everyone hates you and wants you to leave and still be too proud to admit your mistakes and walk away.
