v1.01 Database Fix
Installation: replace the original db. with the downloaded one in WC 10 folder/data/cmn, and then play.
It should fix the black bug turf and the most game crashes.

Resolution Manual Setting File

Write in that file the resolution you want to set for your display monitor, and after saving the changes made put that file in the World Cup game folder.

NOTE: The mode works on the 32 bit version of all Windows XP, Vista and 7 users without the fix I posted above !


Installation
(FIFA 10 PC Is Needed !)
Extract the game on your desired path, but not on the same folder with FIFA 10.
Enter on it's folder, and make sure you create a shortcut to "2010 FIFA WORLD CUP Launcher".
After that, put it on the desktop and run the game pressing "Start" from it.
You'll find in the World Cup folder a registry called "WC.reg", CLICK it -> Click on OK.
You'll also find a folder called "WCSA 10" there.Move it to "My Documents" folder, located in your Windows partition.
Open the game using "2010 FIFA WORLD CUP LAUNCHER" Start button !

DON'T START THE GAME WITH WCSA10, because the game won't work properly (you can't exit, unless you close the game from Processes).
Also, don't forget to avoid alt-tabbing the game while playing, because:
-if you alt - tab the game in the menus, some stadium turfs won't be displayed correctly
-if you alt - tab the game while playing a match, an "Send Error Report" / "Don't Send" error will appear, you being forced to exit the game.

As you know, the latest EA installment will be released only for consoles, so we have only one chance this year to simulate in FIFA world the most important national teams tournament, the World Cup championship.
Based as a mode and developed by the best modders arround the world, the game will ensure the best FIFA PC experience in the history.

How to Play on the World Cup ?
It's very simple.Just unrar this archive to a desirable path, open the game using it's proper launcher, then go to "Game Modes -> Tournament -> New Tournament -> 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa Finals"
Then pick your favorite nation in both qualifying & final tournament and compete against the award winning AI.
Do you live in Romania and you must see the real thing on TVR HD ? In the brand new WC game you can manage your team better than Lucescu and fight for playing on Durban in the real qualifying fixtures stage.


Known Issues.

We have added a lot of FIFA 10 improvements in the World Cup game, and the result is a magnificent product, but being just modders, and not professional programmers, we also have a few issues we already know about, that, unfortunately, cannot be fixed by us:
• the soundtrack is working only before playing the first match, after that it's unplayable, being a limitation of audio.big file while editing the soundtrack & the song names.
• if you load the game dirrectly from "WCSA10.exe" you won't be able to exit it, because our all new launcher developed from the scratch has a problem, blocking "Exit to Windows" function.Also, it seems like the "Alt + F4" combo only freezes the game.You can still exit from the game using "Ctrl + Alt + Delete" and closing it searching in the list of your software processes.
That's why we recommend you to open the game from the launcher.It activates a function set to "F12" which is automatically closing the game while being pressed, at any time, so you can use it as an "Alt + F4" function.
• due to some incompatibilities we've met, the game won't features team anthems, at least not at moment.If we'll be able to fix them, we'll release a game update with them later.
• rarely, you will notice that the commentators are triggering some samples regarding WC at the beginning of the match on lower volume.We've had not to increase the volume of a few samples, because otherwhise the commentary wouldn't work anymore.Fair enough, because usually you'll hear very well the two commentators speeches regarding World Cup.
• in FIFA PC database you can assign everytime only one stadium to a team.That means that if you assign "Moses Mabhida - Durban" stadium to Spain, that team will also play qualification matches on Durban, and not on Bernabeu.We decided to assign World Cup Stadiums for Qualified teams because the mode is based on the final tournament.
You can still change your teams stadiums using Creation Master 10.For example, if you wanna play qualifications stages with Spain, you can assign Bernabeu as they home Stadium in Qualifications stage period, and when you begin the final World Cup tournament, using the same Creation Master 10, assigning of the licensed World Cup stadiums to the same Spain team.
• sometimes the "Replay" stutters very bad
• since we implemented the new console World Cup 10 menu style, the stadiums GUI has dissapeared, being replaced with a simple "Black" colour.Joking a bit, it's not a big problem, now you can enjoy at maximum the team logos quality.
• if you create another game profile, the mode will crash automatically
Even so, we still think you'll find in our game an enjoyable recreation of the real 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa tourney.

Q:First of all, what is this ? What's the idea of this project ?
A:The idea of this project is to give FIFA gamers the ultimate level of details attention, to make them play using the newest FIFA PC engine the most beautiful football moments, in the amazing World Cup Championship, as long as EA decided to release their official game for consoles only.

Q:A mode, or a full game ?
A:This is a very interesting question.Basically we've taken FIFA 10 PC Game and then we've improved what we had.EA's making the same, so basically you can consider this a full-game, unless you don't find EA'S official World Cup/Euro titles "modes" for usual FIFA game, too.

Q:How can you develop the mode.Can you match EA's quality ?
A:It depends very much.Technically not, but in last years PC version was very neglected, and I think SoccerGaming Team will provide a greater World Cup game quality based on FIFA 10 Engine than EA would.Do you remember Euro 08 ? With the hand on my heart, this mode will add much more improvements than Euro 08 PC did for FIFA 08, so don't worry about the quality of this mode, it's not as bad as maybe some persons think.Moreover, it is 100% free, for a lot of people this is the most important feature.

Q:In which ways could we enjoy this "game" if we install it on our PC's ?
A:Well, there are a lot of new additions that have been introduced in this mode.You'll see a top-class authencity with over 125 fully licensed teams,intuitive database, enhanced graphics, gameplay fixes, new emotion because of new cinematics and overhauled match-day atmosphere etc. etc.

Q:You've mentioned some of the mode key features here.Could you tell us some about the smaller features ?
A:The "small" features are making the game if the important ones have good quality.We tried to match as much as possible the Next-Gen World Cup console game flair, making a specific World Cup menu, adding console version soundtrack plus a lot of other amazing FIFA/World Cup songs, the commentary is updated, being provided by the same commentators on a high level.The new pop-ups and scoreboard are also present plus a lot of more surprises that'll be seen while playing.

Q:What is the difficulty in producing such a big project ?
A:It is not very easy because there are a lot of details you may count for a quality mode, but if you like FIFA and you do this "job" with passion it's not very hard at all.We spent a lot of time trying to make this mode, not only the most important FIFA creation, we want it to be the best, too, and I think we did a good job.However, you'll decide if this is true.

Its not hard to fix all the issues dudes. You have all the tools, just start inspecting and investigating. You will learn alot about the Fifa structure by solving some of these issues.

Game is 100% now, no crashes, no missing textures, organized db, organized zdatas. Use that as a blueprint for anyone trying to fix the issues.

For zdatas, its not rocket science, open FM10 and go through and organize them. Try to learn.

For armbands examine how the player models work. Compare to Kit Master 10. Do trial and error, and see how assignments affect what is happening in the game. Investigate, be curious.

but i have to disagree with that concept of teaching to fish ...etc
with that concept i think we should learn to program and each make his own game !!!

the reason i haven't shared what I've done that i was under the impression that the creators will release something of there own , and personally i didn't like it so i deleted it

that doesn't take from the hard work done by the creators at all ... to each his opinion that's all

see the real issue here is that people see certain modders making patch after patch, & i figure they dont have to do anything but sit around requesting & looking for handouts.

then either barking out orders of make this or make that, fix this or fix that.

when in reality we modders see it as use it how it is or do it yourself.

which is where the problem comes in, cause people are either too lazy to attempt to make something themselves or they simply give up after one attempt at it.

they act like its too hard to do, w/o realizing it isnt that hard, many others including myself have taught ourselves how to do these things, i dont see why others cant.

i see it like this, if you can sign up for a forum, download files, use tools created for importing the files, then you can prolly make the file too.

reason i am the way i am & the reason i give newbies such a hard time.

they claim they dont know how to make things, yet they never bother to SEARCH the forum for the tutorials people take the time to make for them.

or SEARCH through a thread for an answer they will find in a thread somewhere.

its sad to see what seems to be so many "USELESS" people, who just cant seem to do anything for themselves.

Was it that hard to pretty much fix the game? I told people how to pretty much do it.

People just want me to upload the files, its not my patch and it took me alot of hours to organize. Why can't those people just use my blueprint and figure it out themselves.

I'm not telling them to become modders, but for god sake they need to stop pestering the modders with complaints about bugs they should easily be able to fix themselves.

As RC pointed the sg forums are becoming more and more dependent on the modders with users requesting kits/faces/balls/ai/etc. All stuff that if they take a few hours of their day and read tutorials they could learn to make themselves.

Me and RC are perfect examples, I learned to decypher MD's hex popup template and manipulate how I want, I learned to import/create leagues, I learned to make switchers and patches from Outsiders program by evaluating how it functions, learned to make stadiums, RC learned to make great ai, learned to use CM10, learned to make damn good nets, learned to make animations. If you just take the time to learn the craft and a little curiosity will take you very far in this business.

I will be glad to point ppl in the right direction, but the work must be done by the ppl who want it. Period!

Problem here.. Uhm, I did all the instructions that the poster said.. Problem is, when i start the game i cant see anything.. I just saw graphics issues, max resolution thingy..

I don't think that there is something wrong with my Graphics card, i got 9500GT and it works pretty well on FIFA 10.. This problem ONLY OCCURED when i started to run the WCSA.exe.. I can only hear sounds/ audios.. But video's? none.. I can only see max resolution thingy.. HELP GUYS.. I want to play this game it is really cool!
