Kick off is locked !! If this is the issue tell me what exactly happens.

1. After loading (the progress bar movement stops), the game does not appear? It remains in the progress bar section?

OR

2. The game appears, but there is only a ball in the centre line in the middle of the screen.

OR

3. The anthems have been sung, all players appear but the players dont move, no kickoff.

If 1 or 2 happens, there is an easy solution.
If 3 happens, I dont know coz I never faced it.

Regarding stadiums, plz try to learn to use CM10 to change the home stadiums of all the 32 nations to the South African ones. Dont complain.

I think what they mean is after playing in tournament mode, they go to the menu and select friendly but the menu says its locked... Not a big problem, a little anoying, but all you have to do is restart the game and you can play friendlies again

Has anyone found a fix for the captain arm bands, I tried adding the armband textures to the kits

Hey guys,

I got a problem, i got windows 7 64BIT and if i start the game and start playing i crash when the match is loading. First i hear the croud singing and then it crash

I really want to play it because its a wonderful patch, and first wanna thanks too the makers of this great patch!

wat OS are u using????..If u r using windows 7 or vista u have to disable UAC before using the reg fix....if this also doesnt work...then im out of ideas...sorry dude!!

I have to say that this patch is very good.
But, the turf is black in every match and I did the fixes but still black, the game goes slow but I can understand that, what I can't understand is that Catalunya appears as a national team and is not a country, that's nosense.

I'm sure sb asked it before but I dont wanna search 21 pages in non-native language, so please be patient and try to answer me. Thank you very much.

My first problem was that one:
I when starting game (just before main menu) it crashed.
I found the solution here - replace fifa.db.

Now I can get to every menu and selections, but when I'm starting to play (when loading the match) game crash again. And in each mode (Kick-off, WC Final, WC Qualif....).

Only solution I found was upper mentioned replacing fifa.db file, bute I've done it already...

What should I do, please?

Randomize the teams in the groups

First of all - great work, thank you very much for the efforts done! When start qualifications the groups are exactly the same as the original. Is there a way to randomize the teams in the groups? Because for example if I want to play with one team every time I start new qualification I should play against the same teams. Thanks in advance!

I have successfully cleaned and organized both the db and the fsh files, so only National teams and their players remain, and my game works now without any crashes at all...

The only bugs I haven't found a solution for are:

1) After playing a Tournament, the Frienldy mode in the menu says: Locked...
2) Captains armband displays missing texture
3) World cup finals says it starts on round 2 instead of round 1

Possible solutions:

1) The WCSA.exe code disables the friendlies by accident. Only the developers can evaluate that code, so I can't fix. Maybe deleting and creating a new profile will fix temporarily until you play tournament mode again.
2) The models used are with the armband 10 patch, but I tried adding armband textures to the kits and the problem is not fixed. Maybe the model is looking for the texture in the wrong place, will evaluate with hex later.
3) There is a mistake with the way the tournament was created, will try to create a new tournament from scratch and assing the gui id's to it. Also maybe the eng.db has it as the wrong round.



If I find a fix to all these issues I will personally talk with merdiso to see if I could release a cleaned version of the patch with my db and zdatas. No promises tho

Earlier I used to face problems sometimes when the progressbar would get locked just before the game. Solution was
a. press escape (the ball in the middle of the ground is shown only)
b. press F2 (for camera ACTION). The game begins.


Now to resolve this, I did two things
1. Take ^D^'s fifa.db patch.
2. Remove debug mode camera option from the ini files.

Everything is ok for me now. I dont know which one solved my problem. May be debug mode camera was the culprit (perhaps it got activated due to F12 stuff).

BTW I use Windows XP SP3.

Interesting, did you do any changes to the game?

Can you post a screen of your captain armbands, so I can try and find the texture?

I might try to unzip originals and try again b4 any changes. After playing and saving on ournament mode, are you allowed to play friendlies. Maybe is because I create a new profile.

I cannot send the ss right now, I am in office.

I am allowed to play friendlies afrer a tournament.

I DID NOT create a new profile.

Only changes done were in ini files. But again I took those ini files from my patched Fifa base version, and then modified those to get rid of debug-mode camera.

I did not even remove any team or league also.
