Disable UAC in Windows 7 before u run the WC.reg!!!....thats the fix!!...i have posted it even before!!

i downloaded the torrent.i have followed all the steps in the patch. i used the WC.reg file, the fifa.db patch, but when i start the tournament and select a team to play, after the loading screen, the game crashes. plz help.
BTW i use win 7 32-bit. i even set the compatibility to win xp sp2, but still it doesn't work

My game is working fine without FIFA 10 installed, although I do have FIFA 08. When I first installed everything worked perfectly, but now when I try to select the "Team" option under "Kick-Off" a dialog appears saying LOCKED...

Anyone know the problem here?

i have a simple question and im sorry if it has been adressed already but ive searched and havent found any answer to this...

Is it possible to play the mod in "windowed" mode? Its the only way FIFA 10 will run properly on my pc. I would normaly just ad "windowed" after the aplication target but since this is working from a launcher, i dont know how i could do this.

I have had some prbolems and have tried some of the fixes but,

1) When going to Propierties after right cliking on the WCSA10.exe i can't find compability with Windows XP just Windows 95, 98, NT 4 and 2000.

2) The other one, downloading the fifa.rar and replace the fifa.db
I downloaded it but when I tries to extract it with 7zip I got a messege
"data error in 'fifa.db'. File is broken"

Girion you should just try downloading it again. Should fix the corrupted file problem, or else try extracting it with winrar. But the rar thats posted here is not the problem.

As for the compability, thats weird cuz XP compability is the first option that comes up for me (os vista 32).

it has been adressed many times in this thread i think, use the "search this thread option" for "locked" top right corner.

I have successfully cleaned and organized both the db and the fsh files, so only National teams and their players remain, and my game works now without any crashes at all...

The only bugs I haven't found a solution for are:

1) After playing a Tournament, the Frienldy mode in the menu says: Locked...
2) Captains armband displays missing texture
3) World cup finals says it starts on round 2 instead of round 1

Possible solutions:

1) The WCSA.exe code disables the friendlies by accident. Only the developers can evaluate that code, so I can't fix. Maybe deleting and creating a new profile will fix temporarily until you play tournament mode again.
2) The models used are with the armband 10 patch, but I tried adding armband textures to the kits and the problem is not fixed. Maybe the model is looking for the texture in the wrong place, will evaluate with hex later.
3) There is a mistake with the way the tournament was created, will try to create a new tournament from scratch and assing the gui id's to it. Also maybe the eng.db has it as the wrong round.



If I find a fix to all these issues I will personally talk with merdiso to see if I could release a cleaned version of the patch with my db and zdatas. No promises tho

that would be awesome, It definitely would help all the editing newbs like me. I'm trying to follow your suggestions on cleaning up the mod with CM10 (thanks btw) but my skills with CM are very basic and after deleting a bunch of stuff i'm not too sure what would be the "irregularities" i should be looking for.. Just trial and error for the moment i guess.

yeah, thanks D, the patch works!! all six stadiums of Southafrica works fine to me now.
btw is amazing , this is the best game of the fifa series i ve ever played, and i ts

Man first of all thanks for producing such a sensation.

I have a problems in which i would like help from u.

when i place locale.ini in the worldcup south africa folder with RESOLUTION=1366x768x32
game after loading process crashes. when i delete the file locale.ini the game runs but with dumb graphics .is there a solution for my problem. reply quickly.

i have win 7 32bit with ati radeon hd 4650 1gb.

has anyone made new adboards.

what about vuvuzela and any new turfs.

i just won the worldcup with brazil but the game disappointed me i had thought that the winners would lift up the world cup trophy.
This patch is just the same as the Fifa Korea Worldwide Superpatch v3 with few improvements in commentry, gameplay, including many bugs.

If anyone can make the winners to lift up the trophy then that would be a sensation.
Till then i would prefer FIFA KOREA WORLDWIDE PATCH V3 which has no bugs and is very small in size just 550 mb and has very good graphics
