but when i play some players get a strange white bleach after a while which really spoils my enjoyment!

When I change qualifier groups in Cm10 my game crashes after i start new tournament

Can someone help me?

an error appear when kick off match as I change the resolution locale.ini to my
desktop resolution while there is no error if I dont put the locale.ini file.

Any help or guidance please?

What resolution do u have in Game settings, and what is written in locale.ini?

Are they matching? What are the values?

desktop max: 1366x768
game setting max : 1280 x768
locale : desktop max = 1366x768

game crash after loading.

fifa 10 original works fine with locale.ini, similar thing but not for fifa world cup patch ,
error appears.

RESOLUTION=1366x768x32 (perhaps u missed out x32)

If u didnt miss out that one, whats the game settings in Fifa 10 original? There also 1280x768? Cannot this be increased to 1366x867 ingame?

Another shot: see whats there in locale.ini in config.dat.

I wrote exactly RESOLUTION=1366x768x32 but it wont work.
Meanwhile, the game setting in Fifa 10 original maximum is 1280x768.
But the resolution will become 1366x768 if i put locale.ini in fifa 10 main
directory.
So, it works but not for this patch(error appears)

I cant find any locale.ini in the config.dat.
Mind to provide me some tips?
I open with notepad and wordpad but the words inside are like
snake symmbol @ language, cant read them all.

Open config.dat using FM 10 (File Manager)

1. Open FM10.
2. It should point to the Fifa 10 installed folder.
3. You can click "Browse" button to point to WC folder.
4. double click on the left hand side folder. You will see config.dat in the left side tree.
5. Click on that. You will see locale.ini, ai.ini, situation.ini, emotion.ini etc. (The same applies if you follow the steps for default Fifa) in the right side.
6. Double click on locale.ini to see the contents.
7. If locale.ini is not there in config.dat, export locale.ini from config.dat from Fifa 10. Import that file into config.dat of WC mode.
8. Export and import functions are available in the top menu.

i cant cant any words related with resoultion there.

Put the lines for resolution in locale.ini from config.dat and remove locale.ini from World Cup 2010 folder and see (since u said removing locale.ini from that folder works for u).

I dont find such problems coz I have 1440x900x32 set both in locale.ini as well as game settings.

Search for the issue man. Its been addressed in other threads. The modding world isn't limited to this thread, search for your issue and you will find your answer.
