We can afford to bring him in and we need a 4th attacking mid so we can give some guys rest and for depth and tactical flexibility. Sterling would be a young (so 2 contracts or resell for profit) HG player who could give us new tools to play with and he might actually earn a starting spot, unlike Salah or Cuadrado (so far). I think it'd be a good move for us.

Bear in mind he would cost 30m as an absolute minimum, probably over 40. I dunno, I have to also think of this as an England fan - is it really a smart choice for club or for player? Will he develop faster with us, will he get the minutes he needs? Also, with a disruptive personality, will he become an antagonist if he isnt given the game time he thinks he deserves? Will he rub Jose the wrong way, or will the experience and authority of Jose be the perfect leveller for the young tearaway?

Willian cost nearly 30m I think and has only just cemented his place as a 1s teamer. I don't really care about England, it'd be up to him to proce himself and if he plays well he gets the job. Mou can make him better so long as he defends as well.
I don't buy that he's disruptive, this is just Liverpool trying to push him into a corner by manipulating the narrative. They said Hazard was gonna be disruptive too.
