2013-14 patch for FIFA 11 [tokke001]

the selector is made for .net 2.0 or higher so no problem
u get other error messages (when opening the selector, ...) ?

however I don't have win xp to try on,
but I ll check some things...
(maybe firewall problem or something)

normally errors at the selector wouldn't make the game crash
(specially not errors at updater)


make sure:
- u installed all versions
* v1.1
* v1.3
* v1.3.2

- all is installed in fifa 11 folder


try run the regenerator:
selector > tab: support > i68 regenerator > GO

no error when open selector. only WHEN open about -> update

make clean install and follow
* v1.1
* v1.3
* v1.3.2
still crash.

after i68 regenerate it still crash

I get that error message too. I'm using Win 8.1 x64 with the latest versions of .NET Framework. It's not that important for me if the updater doesn't work, I can download the newest versions from here, but I hope everything else is working fine. Thanks.

P.S. The game also crashes - I start the .exe and I get a message "fifa.exe stopped working". Any help?

some problems with graphic assignments (lika adboards to teams, ...)


Included:
- FIX: crash at startup (missing file

Thank you tokke001 now FIFA works; I have a question: can I use the kits file from the last patch on my database? because I have done more transfers than you and if you want i can share the file of the transfers (but I did them in-game)

other two problems are:

1. if I wanna do transfers in-game and I use the advanced search for surname the game crashes
2. some players (like Esteban Cambiasso) are in a ghost team and i can't transfer them in the appropriate team.

I know there s an error ingame when u go to "free-players" (like Cambiasso?)
the game crash then because of the huge amount of players


I can open savegames
if u send me,
the transfers u made (ingame / from ur savegame) can be added to the latest database (from last released patch)
...

I installed the patches on different pc,
and the updater works there without problem

so,
for moment I don't know what the problem may be...


can someone take 2 screenshots when:
1) u press "continue" (at error message)
2) u press "continue" & go to tab "List" (at updater)


also,
try run the selector "as administrator"

after newest update and installed that general.lua game just crash after i try to kick the ball(etc: arena or just regular match) can someone help me with what ?

ok,
can u post screenshot when about box open (selector > about)

try see:
file ...\FIFA 11\Support\FIFA 11 Selector\Update.list

- open with notepad & check the file is not empty
- open the details of file (right click > properties) check if file is not read-only



I ll try change some things & upload here to test it
