The Inner Circle

I honestly don't know. I think the two weakest lines are Osaka's attack (Rossi?) and Inner Circle's slow defense. If Osaka had a quick striker it would be an easy decision, but for now I'm undecided.

As others have mentioned, Gamba Osaka does not have a reliable consistent scorer but plenty of creativity. I give it to him though, mainly because Mandieta6's defense is poor. Nastasic is very overrated and Mertesacker, while improved this season is still average.

I have no idea if Rossi is good anymore and am not familiar with Insigne but I thought his team was stronger before. I thought they were pretty even. I think Varane is great but currently overrated, and don't think Ogbonna is better than Mertesacker, who is vastly underrated. Alaba better than De Sciglio, Azpi is slightly better tthan Martinez. De Rossi better than Carrick, Bender better than Kndogobia. Lewy better than Rossi, attackers are similar, but I obviously prefer mine.

How come there are two less votes here tthan in the other threads?

It's among the weaker in the competition, but they are better than people think. Mertesacker is very underrated and they complement each other well. I'd say they're better together than your Hummels-Rio partnership. Mertesacker has stabilised Arsenal's defense and made Kos into a good player. And Nastasic js better than Kos. Varane is better than Nastasic, but Per is better than Ogbonna IMO. People hate on him because he's slow but he posktions gimself impeccably and very rarely gets left behind.

Xaviesta

Starting XI
Xifio, how the hell can you bench Lamela? He's better than Insigne, no doubt. Without Lamela, I'd rather play this: Jovetic ST, Iniesta LW, Rossi CF, Isco RW. Iniesta, Rossi and Isco can change positions between them during a match.

Expected from you. But this isn't about my team, so don't talk about it. I didn't do any comparison between our teams.

I know you didn't. But it makes sense that you would think your team's defense is good and you think mine is bad while I think it is better. I didn't linger on it, I was just illustrating my point.

I don't follow Serie A enough, so I don't know how Rossi is doing. Last I checked he was an amputee. Anyway... tough match up

Piss offffff. Insigne is much better.

Also Rossi has had a pretty decent start to the season, scored a few goals

He also scored a goal in Europa League on Thursday. I don't get the Insigne - Lamela switch too.

Lol what? Me too, and Lamela is light-years better than Insigne, it's not even close. He scored a goal against Dortmund and all of the sudden he's world class. We're talking of a guy who's shorter than Giovinco and has worse stats for Napoli than Callejon. Don't get why you like him so much.

On the bright side, Insigne does play on the left while Lamela is a right winger, so I get why Xifio went with him.

Insigne is more influential than Hamsik this year. I don't care about some freekick vs Dormund, I could just as easily say that Lamela flourished as an attacking player under Zeman and got a big money move to the EPL and all of a sudden he's world class

Again, what? Hamsik has been Napoli's best/most influential player in this start of the season. Is that even debatable?

I think we should both just agree to disagree. I think Insigne isn't even in the top 5 players at Napoli. He still has a long way to go to prove me wrong. Had a magnificent season in Serie B (under Zeman) and some nice games with Italy's U-21. Other than that he's been pretty average. Lamela on the other hand had a monster season for Roma, was constantly one of their best players and as a result got a big money move in the Premier League.
