I think both have weaknesses that will prevent them from becoming Champion, but I'll vote for Xifio's team because I just don't care for the "adventurous" midfield of Fellaini and Hernanes, especially in front of a shaky Vermaelen.

I think Dytza's defense is weak, he is lack a proper playmaker and I'm not sold on the security his midfield offers although I'm sure it could work when given a proper time to gel.

Xifio's defense isn't that good either but overall it's pretty solid. He gets my reluctant vote.

Rossi is in good shape and Jovetic just scored a hattrick.

^ Hamsik is the kind of player that every team would love to have. Also there's Hernanes.

I decided to start the in-shape Gibbs over Alvaro Pereira who hasn't played this season.
To be fair, I expected Xifio to keep Rossi or even bring back Jovetic. I'm really curious to hear why he chose Miro Klose over those two.

I'm voting Jailbirds because they beat out the clear best team of all time.


I dislike the pretentiousness of the arrows in the other team, as if we didn't know what would happen if those players played like that. Who's team is it?

I personally think Gamba has all the tools to take care of possession and ball against Jailbrids midfield and create lots of chances ... tbh, Klose is a best choice here.

Jailbirds can attack from sides but Gibbs and Johnson are average players to support forwards ... on the other side, Gamba back four is not the best ... but again, it's very hard to control the game against likes of Iniesta, Isco, Lamela and those two beasts.

I think Gamba has slightly better reserves as well ...

I'm really interested to see Arnau and Xifio comment on this ...

tbh, Klose is a best choice here.

Why?

He adds a new dimension to Gamba, I think his physique, strength and opportunistic attributes are big advantage against Barzagli, Fellaini and Vermaelen. Rossi and Jovetic are fast and technical, but they lack those attributes, that being said Klose has more experience for high profile matches such as semi final.

Fullbacks are good but Fellaini (very rare player) + Hernanes (Never plays there) is not a competitive double pivot and neither of both dominate the positional play.

Barzagli handles Klose fine, if Johnson lets Isco (or Insgine) run at him then he's in trouble
