To DimitrisV69:
I agree with you.
However, when you say "since we dont have the permission to use EA files " I did asked EA if they can give me permissions to edit their stuff. I am telling you this, because some people say that we just pretend to own EA files. That is not true, the only thing I've said is that we had permission from them, so I agree with you no one owns EA files so therefore no one can lock certain type of editing technique.
To YJ:
Well actually I read in a post somewere that 2GK2S kits worked ok with 2GK and don't have the white sleeve problem. Therefore, since we're developing Kit Raptor, I thought of uniting all the kit formats (2gk, 2GK2s, 2GK4s, 3gk, 32bit 4S, 2S) and producing a program that will be able to edit, create, zip, and convert one kit from one format to another.
Therefore I wanted to know, if Dimitris can tell me, if Lukas used the 2GK files or the 2S files as a base for his 2GK2S kits. If he could tell us that, then I think the fair thing to do would be to host those files in Lukas sites as well as in the site who created the base files he worked with. And YJ if your site would like us to include your format in our program then send me a msg and I'll tell Ariel to introduce that format ok?
Again, this board has been reactivated because if Lukas would like to promote his kit technique, I think we can all clear up this mess (gigantic board
and promote his technique as well.
However, there may be people thinking that i just want to host his files, so I would really like to explain that all my wishes to promote Lukas kit technique are because I find the white texture sleeves a problem and if we would release our own 2GK2S kits, then that wouldn't make much sense since there are already 2GK2S kits.
I just never liked the idea of having our 2GK files modified WHILE AT THE SAME TIME prohibiting my site to use them. Modifying the 2GK files is just fine as long as it brings something cool to the game isn't it?
The majority of people prefer kits with 4 sleeves. However, I still believe that compatibility is the most chritical issue with 4 sleeves.
