Well, its definitely an improvement. However, I would think that EA/FIFA would want to include national teams from large markets to tempt buyers even more. How about Japan? Canada? Egypt? instead of Malta, San Marino and Leichtenstein.

i can't see how ea choose the national teams in thair fifa but how come egypt isn't there although in the fifa ranking it is 26 on the world and first over arabian national teams

They took the list down. All the teams in the list won't be in FIFA 06. The EA mods for the www.fifa06.ea.com site said they misinterpreted the list and have removed it...in the www.footballcommunity.ea.com/forum forums you can see the new list which shows that the national teams are the same as 05.

The number of leagues (the list will appear shortly) and international teams in the game hasn't increased by much this year in order for the development team to focus thoroughly on gameplay which has been the number 1 request based on feedback last year. From what we've played of FIFA 06 so far, this was time well spent.

We appreciate that it's always desirable to have a sizable increase in the number of teams, but in this case the additional focus placed on gameplay is going to make all the difference.

i think there are few african teams. teams like Egypt, Tunisia, Angola, Ghana deserved to be in the game.

Some of those that were supposed "new" teams like Georgia and such were intended for FIFA 2005, but they didn't put them in, but they left logos and such things in the game same happened to some clubs, like they left flags of the U. Catolica and a logo of Ferencvaros.

It sucks it'll remain the same.:kader:

EA will put more teams in fifa if and only if they put inernationals tournement like world cup,euro,...etc . and this mean there will be no more WC games or Euro games every 2 years .
